Winter Garden Restaurant

I will NEVER go to this place again. With all do respect the staff is completely and truthfully racist. The whole place including all the workers in the back are caucasian. Every single person who works there is caucasian. Are people of any nationality beside white allowed to work there? Nevertheless I was treated as dirt, my food was cold when i got it. The server forgot a side order that i made. YET everyone else in the restaurant (caucasian) was well taken care of. I know cause i sat there and watch how they treated my party and other parties. In this day and age i would hope we are not still catch up on the color of someones skin. Money is money whether black, white, hispanic, asian you name it we are all gifts from god. Everyone should be treated as a human being. I will never come back to this restaurant again nor will i ever recommend it. I am ashamed i brought my family to such a distressing place. The management team really needs to reconsider how things are ran here. There are no lies in my words just sharing my experience. This is a very nice little place and has recently burned, but they are rebuilding and will be as great as before! The owners are very nice people and work hard as there family does. They put in a lot of time and help to the town. They may have disgruntle ex employees or applicants but we each have our own opinions and mine would be they're great.. Definitely try it as they re-open. more

I will be back again. What a treat to find a home town restaurant with good food and fast service. I had a huge fantastic waffle with fresh fruit and my husband had the good old homestyle cooking he loves which was some country fried steak and he was in heaven. Going to some of the bigger restaurants for breakfast isn't the same. I strongly suggest anyone give this place a try if you are in the area or traveling. The coffee was fantastic too don't know what kind they have but really good. more

Forget fast food restraunts, if you are looking for the perfect weekend breakfast place this is it. They have the perfect breakfast buffet, not too much to offer not to little, just enough to make even the really hungry happy campers. Not to mention the perfect stop for weekend motorcyclists cruising the backroads out to lake county, located right on the West Orange trail, stop in for breakfast and head out on your ride ! Pros: Excellent down home cooking ! Cons: Don't come here looking for 5 star fine dining !! more
