I was there last month,poor treatment,unprofessional & rude service! I felt like I was having to beg for something that I was paying for! I won't go back!

I followed Jackie Little to Winslow and wouldn?t go anywhere else. Before finding Jackie, I?d had some bad experiences with stylists and was looking to find someone I could trust and that could work magic on my hair. Now I can just walk into the salon and let her do whatever she thinks will look good. She nails it every time. So nice to come home from the salon and get compliments from my husband; I?ve even had coworkers ask for referrals after seeing my highlights. If you?re in search for a stellar stylist go visit Jackie. more

Jackie Little - The Best! 4/6/2012

I love Winslow Salon and LOVE Jackie Little. I have been going to Jackie since May 2011 -and she is awesome! I always leave looking good - at least my hair does! Jackie color and cuts my hair. She listens to what I want, make suggestions and it always looks terrific! I never feel like I need to go home and re-style my hair. She makes it look GREAT! She is great with little girls too! She spent over an hour getting tangles out of my daughters hair. I highly recommend Jackie. And, the salon...always greeted when I walk in the door, offered something to drink, very relaxing and everyone is super nice. more

Review from client on Lee Gerchow: By Dr. Vanessa W - Once again, Lee has hooked it up! She does an AMAZING job with my blond color, and my bangs are incredible every time!! After moving out here from Chicago, I went to numerous stylists before finding her. Now that I have, I couldn't possibly go to anyone else. I've been going to her since last year, and I don't think twice before driving from downtown Seattle to see her. more

For all you blondes out there... 12/27/2010

Roman may become your hair's best friend! I have been to several salons in Seattle and on the Eastside and for once in my life, and finally!!!! I am not a nervous nelly when I am sitting in a chair with foils on my head! I am about as picky as they come and notice when one foil isn't quite right - not kidding! ;) I never have to go back to him to fix anything - he does a perfect job every time! My hair is in the best condition it has ever been in. Which is saying something for as blond as I am. Roman truly listens to what you want, like and dislike. He is a perfectionist at heart, every girls dream when it comes to a stylist! So?.. If you are looking for consistently beautiful color and cuts, book an appointment with Roman at Winslow Salon in Kirkland!! :) more

Love Winslow! 12/17/2010

I have been seeing April for cuts and colors for awhile and always walk away loving my hair! She takes the time to ask and listen to what I'm wanting done and then gives the best advice for what she thinks will actually work for my own hair. I appreciate that even if I'm not sure what I want to do with my hair, April will ask questions about what I like and then offer up ideas. I never feel rushed and always look forward to having my hair done by April! Its just an added bonus that Winslow also offers a fun and comfortable atmosphere to sit back, relax with a cup of coffee and enjoy some conversation or read some magazines while April takes care of my hair! more

The Best of the Best 12/9/2010

I have been seeing the owner of the Salon Ashley for over 10 years. I told her she could never retire! She is the best! They all are there. Every time I leave the salon after a hair color people stop me on the street asking who does my hair color. She is so great she knows how to listen and also gives great ideas whether it's for a haircut or color! You cannot go wrong with her... Everyone is great there. I always know that if Ashley is gone I will be taken care of by the other great gals or guys there... Winslow Salon is awesome first rate customer service... more

I have seen Emilienne at Winslow Salon a few times now for color and haircut and she is so great! I have not had much luck in the past getting someone to really take the time and listen to what I want. I also got the keratin straightening treatment done about a month ago and it?s so amazing. It has made styling my hair so much easier! I don?t feel rushed when I get my hair done and she always makes sure I?m completely satisfied before I leave. It?s great to go at the end of your day to just unwind with a cup of tea, relaxing shampoo massage, and great atmosphere?and there is always plenty of street parking, which is a HUGE plus! I will be back again and again. more

Kirkland's Best Salon 11/22/2010

Winslow Salon is by far the hottest new place for a great ""DO!"" Ashley( it's owner) has been cutting, highlighting and styling my hair for a long time and her expertise and ability to listen to my requests, puts her at the top of my list of stylists! I've never been disappointed with any cut, color or treatment, I've received and her new place on Market, is extremely hip and gorgeous. You got to see it to believe it, with it's chandeliers and it's inviting colors and sparkle. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone desiring a fabulous turnout and a fun, relaxing experience! more

Perfect for Picky Hair People (like me...) 11/14/2010

After searching for years I finally found the perfect stylist! I have gone to April to have my hair cut for almost 2 years now. I started with her when she worked at a salon in Bellevue and followed her to Winslow when it started up. Like someone else who posted, I also drive a long distance - about 75 miles (across Snoqualmie Pass). But it's worth it to be happy with my hair and to receive so many compliments. I also enjoy talking with April - she's sweet with a real nice personality. She's also ""hip"" without being too far out there like alot of stylists are. If you are picky, picky about your hair, then I urge you to try April! Oh yea, I like the salon, too! :-) more

Jackie!! 11/10/2010

So far, I have had two cuts and a color from Jackie at Winslow Salon and I am more than pleased. After having my hair done by Jackie, I receive compliments for at least a week, and I (for the first time) actually like my hair. My hair is very fine and a lot of stylists have had troubles working with it. I am used to being rushed in and out of other salons in 30 minutes and unhappy with my hair. Jackie spends more time on my hair than I thought possible. When I see the final product, I can tell why. AND My color has lasted over two months and still looks great/healthy. The feel of the salon in general is very calm, comfortable, and inviting. I recommend going in after a long day/week of work, having a cup of tea, and have Jackie work her magic. It's something to look forward to. Jackie has years and years of experience and even (successfully) showed me how to style my bangs. Seriously Impressive! Go see her asap...your hair has more potential than you know :) more

Excellent Hair Service and Fashion Forward Salon 11/10/2010

Aside from Ashley being my sister, I feel fortunate to have such a great hair designer who knows exactly what I want when I explain my hair needs and a comfortable, lush environment in which I spend some serious hair time. I love the atmosphere! This is a huge step up from any normal salon, as in, all of the other stylists at Winslow are not only fantastic as hair designers, but also have great personalities that blend well together and make for a more lively, first class and fun place to be. When you're inside, you'll be spoiled with soothing colors, ambient lighting, coffee, tea, wine, delicious candle scents and many upscale products to purchase...oh and don't forget, friendly people. Try Winslow Salon--you won't want to go anywhere else. more

Great guys cut & salon 11/10/2010

I am extremely happy with Ashley's cuts. She always gives me a current look but keeps my personal style too. Besides how much I love the look Ashley gives me, I must also comment on how comfortable Winslow Salon is. My wife and I typically get our hair done back to back. As a 6'7"" guy waiting for my wife at our first appointment, I was impressed at how comfortable their furniture is. This, paired with complimentary beverages and great music kept me from walking down the street to get a coffee while I waited for my wife. I recommend Ashley & Winslow Salon for a great guys cut and nice atmosphere! more

Best Salon On The Eastside 11/9/2010

Winslow Salon is the kind of place I'm willing to drive over 70 miles to visit-literally! I live in Olympia and make the trek regularly for 3 main reasons: 1) The salon atmosphere, space, and decor is upscale, but comfortable; 2) My hair always looks better than I hope and I get the compliments to prove it; and 3) Winslow Salon has the most amazing products that actually allow me to replicate the same salon style when I get home! Go to Winslow Salon. Have Ashley cut/color/style your hair because she is worth a 70 mile drive. Leave a few evening appointments for me! more

Go see Jackie for a great cut + color! 11/7/2010

Jackie is amazing. I told her what I wanted and she got it exactly right. I got so many compliments on my hair including one friend who wanted me to take a picture of it so she could get the exact same look! Jackie is super sweet and fun to talk to! The salon is great...friendly and beautifully decorated and also a great location! more

Great neighborhood salon with style! 8/16/2010

Ashley (stylist/owner) has been doing my hair for about ten years now. She's just a good, solid stylist that has a great fashion sense herself that translates directly into the work she does on my hair! She recently did a partial foil that turned out wonderfully!! The highlights were warm and subtle so as not to be too obvious during the grow out phase. That's extremely important! more

Ali Black 5/10/2010

I first went to Ali when she was at Viridis Salon in Kirkland and have been a faithful follower ever since. I recently visited her at the new Winslow Salon, and fell in love with the place, very cute! I love going to Ali because she LISTENS to what I need and she asks great questions to ensure I am getting what I am asking for. I have very curly hair and is difficult to manage so I appreciate the great job Ali does and I highly recommend her. Pros: Great communication, excellent with curly hair more
