3 months ago I was able to observe the workers here, and I was shocked by the lack of caring and teamwork of the nurse aides, nurses, and health care team. I know that abuse and neglect occurs at nearly every facility in the US, but at Windsor I was able to witness first hand the blatant denial of patient care and dignity. Patients are left dirty, or left naked waiting for a poor bath in bed. Call signals from patients are left ignored by nurses for 30min or more, when the patients aides are busy and unable to answer. Nurses REFUSE to get their hands dirty to serve a patient when that patient's aide is tending to another person under their care. I saw feces left over an hour on walls, patients calling for help and heaving themselves on the floor while a RN stood in their doorway saying ""Don't move, your assistant will come to help,"" when that RN was able and free to help the patient. What I saw was disgusting. Do not abandon your loved ones here.
