I am pleased to say that I had a good experience with Window wizard. Had 2 estimates prior to meeting with George (sales rep)from Window wizards and he was very informative, unlike the other 2 salesman that i had met with, he actually used to install the products so he could awnser questions that i had specific to the job. Price was in the middle (not the cheapest) When the installers arrived at my home they did everything George said they would do. Will use them again for my front door! more

DON'T USE WINDOW WIZARDS!! All these good reviews so suddenly so close together reeks of management stuffing reviews. Here's what happened to my house. They damaged the window opening inside and out when removing the admittedly hard to remove original "flanged" windows. They "capped" the outside to cover the damage to the siding but less than a year later water started coming inside to tops of the windows. (They never did come back with the promised matching moulding for the inside) When it came time to put in more windows I asked that company to take a look at what window weasels did and to recaulk he took a look at the job they did on the outside he had to rip it off and reinstall everything all over again. There was no wood or j-channel behind or next to the capping and there were giant gaps between the original siding and the windows right through to the inside drywall - which explains how the water was getting in. Save yourself a nightmare and find somebody that installs a quality windows. I got some nice Simington units for less money and a better warranty. I will say that the ladies in the Bristol store were sympathetic and tried to help but the men were rude. more

I just had window and doors installed. The men were on-time, respectful, cleaned-up after themselves, and did the install in a timely fashion. I am beyond happy with our new windows. They make our space seem more open! I have nothing but praise for the people I have dealt with. Great Experience! more

I just got my new windows from Window Wizzards. JAck was my installer. He was neat clean and professional. I never saw anybody caulk as well as this guy. My new windows look great. They were installed about 5 weeks after I ordered them. Overall I have nothing but good things to say about the company. Ben in Bensalem more

After reading some negative reviews on Judy's Book, I decided to call and cancel my previous days window order. My sales rep Brad, who was out at my house, who was actually a delight to work with, called me back and asked why I was cancelling. I stated to him about the negative reviews I seen here on Judy's Book. Brad informed me that Window Wizards does 11,000 homes each year, and the amount of negative reviews equals to less than 1% of their total homes installed for the year. I actually thought to myself, this makes sense, people who have a positive experience, usually do not write about it. Brad informed me that he had a number of references for the installer assigned to my job, which he then provided, and also I wouldn't have to pay my balance until I was 100% satisfied. Being a former business owner, I gave Brad the benefit of the doubt, called a few references, and received rave reviews. Brad even gave me a reference to a customer who actually did have a problem, whom Window Wizards immediately rectified to this customers delight. Needless to say, my windows were installed this past week, and I am truly satisfied. Thumbs up! more

I have never used their installers because the total price is half if you just get the windows yourself! I have bought the cheapy vinyl windows they carry and some Andersens and the staff have been very accomodating and helpful. I installed them myself and had no product issues EXCEPT the cheapy vinyl casement window cranks are not good and easily loose their grip. When the windows are not only installed properly, but measured properly, they are very airtight and operate well, without any issue of the tilt-in windows popping down and smashing on your head (this is a result of not shimming properly when installing). If you're not handy, you might be better off buying the product directly from WW yourself and then using a trusted handyman/carpenter to install them. All they require is a level, some wood shims, some screws to attach them into the jamb, and plenty of caulk around the edge. It sounds like WW's contracters are the real bottom-of-the-barrel and WW is hoping to make a little money off of the installation while keeping the overall price cheap to the customer--not so easy in this economy. more

Buy one get one is a scam. who pays $800.00 for a vinyl window. so you end up paying $400.00 per window. that with out needing a new frame or sill. Went to the store refused to give the price on the windows without rip off sales person coming to the home. Then I find out that my friends got thier windows for muchless and my windows are no better than theirsw. the only honest people there are the installers, I told them how much they said the windows cost, and they looked at me without saying a word. I knew I got screwed. I am contacting the State attorney Generals Office and advise others who think they were ripped off to do the same as well as the BBB. We had doors and windows installed by Window Wizards. The windows are so called self locking (when you close them they should lock automatically, on 50% of our windows that were installed by them, the top pane falls open when you close the bottom pane. We were told that this was normal and were not closing the window correctly. Even the manager could not get them to close correctly. After living with this for over a year, we still cannot get them to correct the problem! The door had more problems than the windows, i cant even talk about it without getting my blood pressure up! more

windows were not installed square, they leak worse than the old ones, they came out 5 times and said the new windows need to be replaced and now after 10 months I still have cannot get Mr. Rich F. to return my calls I have baby's in the house and trying to keep them warm is costly and frustrating after all I paid cash money to have all new windows and wind up with worse air flow then I started with the most frustrating thing is they and He Rich F. will not return your calls since the window manufacture's owner and window wizards own head Installer came out and looked at the problem 4 previous times finally agreed that the windows had to be remade to proper size and installed plumb and square now he will not return any call to me ???? more

Bad product and unexperienced installers. I wasted 10,000 dollars on this company! more

Wow, I have never heard such sexist remarks and comments. DO NOT buy from Window Wizards. Take your quote and go to Home Depot... they will give you 10% off your price anyways. more

horrible company. promised to install a patio door valued at $1800.00. on nov. 14, 2008. never showed up and never called me to let me know.try getting someone on the phone who can do anything to help you. it's faster to sue, which is my only recourse. they are refusing to refund my $500.00 deposit. more

Good: speed of install only problem was they were not installed square and time to make deal was fast that was it now it has been 9 months and they will not answer my calls. Bad: owner made promises to come out then to fix or replace within 2 weeks now they will not call me back I have 15 brand new windows that you can feel the air flow right through them and not square. Improvements: I expect them to keep there promise and replace all 15 windows. more

I had over 30 winds installed in my home. I was impressed when I first saw the windows, but quickly realized there were some problems. My casement handles fell off and windows would not stay up. I called to have the problems resolved and was not pleased with some of my experiences. Window Wizards knew the casement handles they installed were defective. I had to call the company that made the window and a guy from there finally replaced the handles correctly. more

We had Window "wizards" replace 4 windows at first to see how it would go before doing more work. It took their "experienced" crew of 2 guys half a day just to remove 2 windows. I talked them out of taking out the other two because it was clear that I would have four gaping holes in my house at the end of the day and overnight. They botched the install of the first two windows so bad the company had to send somebody else to redo those and finish the job. Now with the warranty only half gone they are trying to get out of replacing a defective product. All four windows are bad. We saved a little money in the short term but wound up with a messed up house and bad windows that fog up and leak. more
