We were so excited to find Winchester Transmission & Service. It's so important to find someone you trust and knows what they are doing. They were recommended by someone we know and trust. Patrick is just so nice and very knowledgeable. He knows transmission. I brought my car in Sunday night and it was ready by 2pm the next day. more

Patrick is a buddy of mine, and the service at Winchester Transmission & Services was all good. Pat does good work and gets the job done right the first time, all the time. I chose him for the quality of his work on my transmission, and the price is right also. That's what's important to me. more

Over qualified, informative, and fair. 1/20/2012

They did a really good job. Winchester Transmission & Services were nice and informative. The pricing was fair, although it was a little higher than expected. My truck is now running very well after the work was done. I am going back to them for another fix. more

Honest, good and professional people. 8/2/2011

Winchester Transmission & Services have always been very honest and fair to me. They have driven me back and forth to my house and to my office which I think is so nice. I've gotten estimates at other places and their prices have always been better. Sometimes, I've taken my car to other places, for a quick oil change or something, and they've told me things that were wrong with my car and needed fixing. I've then taken it to Winchester and they tell me nothing needs to be fixed. I can trust them, and I think that is the most important thing about them. The work they have done has always been excellent. These are really great people. more

I would highly recommend Winchester Transmission for all your auto service needs. 9/8/2010

I have had Winchester Transmission take care of all my automobile service needs for several years. They have performed a variety of work on all four of our cars, routine maintenance, brakes, clutches, radiators, and electrical. The service was always done promptly and completely to my satisifaction. Hence the repeat business relationship, which started with AAA recommending and towing our car there. The service manager is always quick to return calls and keep me informed on the progress of the work. The shop makes recommendations about what needs to be done, but is never pushy. I do recommend Winchester Transmission to my friends and family. more

** Beware of Eddie ** Eddie had committed to what the Bureau of Automotive Repair calls fraud and providing false and misleading statements. The shop will promise you low service price then later increase it by adding problems. When you are not prepare to pay their new demand, they threaten to charge storage fee for your car to be at their shop. The owner, Patrick, is just as bad as Eddie. Since when is it acceptable to mislead and harass people? After reporting to the owner about Eddie, Eddie got mad and tried to start a physical fight; with a customer? I sincerely hope NO ONE will have to go through the torment of an experience such as mine. Stay away from Almaden Valley Transmission. They own another shop called **Winchester Transmission**. Let's see how long these two will be around. I am seeking legal action against this place. Please let me know if you want to join lawsuit Cons: Despicable business people more

Very fair shop and good quality work. 4/20/2010

We have been using Winchester Transmission for at least 3 years now. They have worked on both my car and my wife's car, and we have not had any issues with the service. They are a very fair shop and they do good work. The service manager is a very nice person and reasonable in working with me on price. I know that there are other places that charge less, but the service at Winchester Transmission has been good, which is why we continue to use them. They have done repair work for me on the air conditioner as well as checking and sealing the transmission. They also have done a 90,000-mile service on my wife's car. Everything is still working well. I have already recommended Winchester Transmission. We have had a very good experience with them and have no doubt that we will use them again. Jim Luttrull more
