As a landlord, my recommendation is to find an agency that looks out for your best interests. With handling my property, WW did anything BUT that. The broker they used to show my property was not knowledgeable about the area; she withheld information from me upon submitting applications for tenants; the maintenance person would not repair a broken light fixture, nor would he give an update on the status of the property when the previous tenant moved out, which turned out they damaged the wall, left the master bath a mess, and the ceiling fans and a/c filters dirty. Any chance they get, they will keep your the tenant's and landlords deposits, and only if you threaten on suing them will they consider returning it. My property went unrented for over 5 months with them. When I got out of the contract and set it up with another agency, it rented the first weekend they showed it, to credit-worth tenants, something WW could never bring me. They were the 3rd property management company I'd used. First 2 companies were a disaster. Not so this time around. Placed a tenant rather quickly and provided very good follow up. Other companies I called didn't even bother to call me back. Wilson West Agency is your buddy! Pros: Great follow up. Got the job done. more

You'd have thought I was the only client they had when we had interest in our rental home.\r Richard took as much time as needed to answer my nervous questions about being a first time landlord.\r We couldn't sell our home because of the slow market so we decided to rent it and we couldn't be happier. From the first time we started our search for an investment home to purchase until the day it rented and the tenants moved in Richard with Wilson West Agency was there for me to answer, what I thought at times were dumb questions. \r Not so. My experience with Richard at Wilson West Agency has been great. He always responds and is extremely helpful when problems come up. I ve been with Wilson West agency for a year. I hired them to manage my rental property in Raleigh. In this year I have had several surprise maintenance charges. Strangely enough they all seem to total $317 or there abouts each time. This is month is the third month in a row with a surprise charge of 300 dollars. On the day that I expect a deposit I have gotten an email from Tammy explaining some sort of issue and their need to charge another 300 dollars. First the locks needed to be changed, then it was the freon needed to be charged lastly its something else. I'm still to received a copy of the keys when they changed the locks. I'm still to receive a work order or statement for all the other work that they claimed to have done. \r \r There is no phone call, no email. they just surprise you with a lower deposit. In addition Tammy does not use the company email. She uses an Earth link account to email the bad news. Use Wilson West agency for your property needs if you want to be stolen from at 300 dollars a pop.\r more

Great customer service! Highly recommended. Reanna and Richard were both very helpful and friendly. I never felt like they were trying to tell me what I wanted to hear. They found a tenant for my home within 2 weeks and they moved in a couple of weeks later. \r I've used another large property management company and felt like I was just a number and they were just running me around the block and I wasn't satisfied at all. I didn't have that problem with the Wilson West Agency and would and will use them again in the future. Do yourself a favor and call them if you need to rent your home or sell it. I've never used them to sell anything yet, but will definately call them when I do. Oh yeah I almost forgot to mention they were also a little less expensive than that big company which is a bonus.
