I attended WCA from 1st grade until my junior year. Overall, I had a very positive experience. My classmates became like family due to the small class sizes (only a total enrollment of under 400 students K-12) and many mutual values. Many of my teachers became mentors in every aspect of my life and remain my friends. Though cliques are common in middle and high school (just as they are in any private academy), students are generally accepting and friendly to newcomers. There is a strong sense of community which I treasured in my years there. Student events are a huge focus and bring the school close together. Large schools lack the ability to do this effectively.
Pros: caring teachers, non-denominational Christian curriculum
Cons: expensive, small, lacks variety in extracurriculars and arts
