The Williamsburgh Historical Society established this new museum in 2000. Of note: The William Willis Boddie V Research Center and Boddie's histories and historical sketches of General Francis Marion, The Swamp Fox. Marion is buried nearby. Pros: Located near the Francis Marion National Forest. Significant genealogical research available. more
