Very nice low cost amusement park! 11/13/2005

I've lived in the Mechanicsburg area for years, and I have many fond memories of going to Williams Grove Amusement Park when I was a kid, and now my wife and I are taking our kids to the park. It is a fun, low cost way for the whole family to enjoy the day. It could not compete with Hershey Park as far as the rides go, but it's nice because there is no wait for the rides they do have, and it's much more affordable. more

Yes, Williams Grove is small but my main concern was not how many rides they had but the quality and safety of those rides. It makes me more than a little nervous to see rust and just an overall run down appearance on the majority of rides. They don't charge an arm and a leg to get in and you don't have a parking fee either, but I would not be comfortable riding some of the rides there. They have a waterslide as well so take your suit if you go in the summer. more

Family Friendly 8/6/2005

This park is off the beaten path but offers something for everyone, including major thrill rides, kiddieland and miniature golf. There is a picnic grove that offers catering for groups large and small. It also offers free shows including live music, magic and illusion. Price of tickets are relatively inexpensive and there is no fee for parking. more

Nice Amusement Park 8/1/2005

Although this park does not offer all the thrill rides of the other amusement parks in Pennsylvania is does have a certain charm to it. Located near the Williams Grove Raceway, the amusement park offers a nice selection of rides for younger children. The price for an all day ride pass is very reasonable and there is no parking fee. Although the park is beginning to become rundown, it is my understanding that the owners are working on remodeling this amusement park. Overall a nice park to spend the day without spending a small fortune. more
