Was the Trasco Tower 10/9/2010

The waterwall is refreshing and dogs like to run in the soft lawn. There are not any doggie bag stations, but there are trashcans. Smokers and parking are a challenge here. You can park at the Galleria IV's Nordstrom. \r more

Refreshing Park with Lush Lawn 4/1/2010

This is not an official dog park; however, the waterwall is refreshing and dogs like to run in the lush lawn that proceeds it. Even though there is water misting in your faces, you will need to bring water for you and your pooch. The waterwall smells of chlorine, so don't let Fido drink from it. \r \r There are not any doggie bag stations, but there are trash cans. Kids play in the lawn, so try to encourage your dog to go to the restroom by the trees that line the park.\r \r People do smoke at this park which is a bummer.\r \r Parking is a challenge here. Why, why, just why do they have to change the operating hours 9/6/2008

For anyone who has lived in Houston, he/she will know at 6 P.M. the sun is still way up there in the sky. The water wall is at it's most beautiful sight during the evening when all the lights are on and in contrast to the night sky. Why would anyone turn the water wall off by 6 P.M., now when I drive pass it after dark, it's just that, pitch dark. I just want to say: "" nice way of using your brain, idiot."" more

Great Wedding Proposal Site!!! 4/9/2007

This worked out like a charm!! I parked in the adjacent parking lot, and my fiance and I walked towards the water tower since she said she's never been to it. We were supposed to meet some friends for dinner, and I said it would be an easy short cut to go through there. Anyway, we stopped in the middle, with the water falling all around us, and started with a kiss. I told her to look up at the water falling, and at that moment, I dropped to one knee. Once she looked down at me proposing, she abolutely flipped! Be prepared for waterworks, and not just from the water wall!!! \r \r Extrememly romantic setting! I was married in front of the Water Wall... 6/17/2005

my husband and I went on our first ""date"" on a picnic at the Water Wall. Almost 3 years to the day we were married standing under the center arch in front of the wall. It was a romantic and beautiful spot for a wedding and our pictures were beautiful. Only negative part is that you need a permit to get married there and they charge $250.00 for it. I guess nothing is free these days and I woould pay it again for the use of such a beautiful special memory. We still go there often for picnics and it's always fun and if you get hot just walk up to the wall to cool off! Pros: Relaxing, Free Parking Garage, Safe Cons: Security Guards more

The waterwall is beautiful, I had only driven past it until my husband took me there on a date. It is calming and relaxing. I think it would be a great place to picnic someday. more

The Williams Tower and Water Wall Is the best place to go for a good family fun day. Or to go with that special someone. The best time is to go at night when the lights accent the water and make it sparkle. The night time make it very memorable. Water! Water everywhere! 7/26/2002

The Williams Tower and Water Wall are by far the most romantic place in the city of Houston to visit. Go there in the day time and walk into what I like to call the Cathedral and look up at the sky. There is a migic that exists there. Guys, if you want to make a girl fall in love with you, take her there. Couples picnic on warm afternoons and take carriage rides at dusk. Definitely a must see when you come to Houston. Pros: Inexpensive, Easily accessible, No waiting Cons: no seating, small park area more

I work in the Williams Tower, and could not be more pleased. Everyday on the drive to work, I catch a view of the tower and I find myself in awe. What a beautiful site! Kissing by the Freeway? 6/4/2002

Never sure what the appeal is of this place. I remember this place back when it was the TransCo Tower and Water Wall. One of my friends proposed to his wife here and I've been there on many a date. I neve really liked it, though. Sure, the tower makes a great landmark for the west side of the city, but I'd prefer a little more nature around me, to tell you the truth. more
