Fun place for kids 6/7/2006

This is a great zoo to go to especially if you have small children. The exhibits are closer together so you don't have to do so much walking. They have a nice variety of animals and the staff is very informative. It is also reasonably priced for families- you don't have to break the bank to go here. You can get up close to the animals so it is a much more intimate experience. more

Entertaining 8/6/2005

I really like the way this zoo is set up. You can get up close & personal with the animals. The zookeepers interact with the big cats and you get to see them in action. Great exhibits and a very fair price. Beautiful. Parking is not a problem. Lots of educational experience to be had. more

nice day out 8/4/2005

While this zoo is really a far drive from where I live, the kids really enjoy it.The white tigers are worth the trip all own their own. While more rustic than most zoos, it works for us. It has the states largest selection of exotic animals. There is a merry-go-round, skyride and a wonderful playground. They are open every single day of the year. How wonderful to head to the zoo after opening presents on christmas day. The prices were pretty reasonable. more
