I really don't understand what all the excitement is about regarding lettuce entertain you restaurants. I get the feeling that a lot of the glowing reviews are written by LEY employees.
The Wildfire atmosphere is uncomfortable. The music is very loud, making it near impossible to converse with others. I really like jazz, but they went out of their way to pick some of the worst big band tunes ever produced. The tables are packed in really close to each other, making it very difficult to sit down and get up without disturbing the other diners around you.
As for the food, I was disappointed. Their 'crusts' are used to cover up their insipid, chemically tenderized, low quality beef. A great steak doesn't need a crust!
Overall, I felt like I was in an upscale Applebee's. If you have truly discernible tastes, pay a few dollars more and go to a real steakhouse. If you ate McDonald's for lunch, then this place is right up your alley. And if someone is dragging you here, be sure to get drunk before hand!
Pros: can't think of any
Cons: Loud, pretentious, over priced, and definitely overrated
