Wickliffe Country Place

it is never easy to place your loved one in a skilled nursing facility but sometimes it is a needed reality, a choice sometimes we need to make. We are able though to choose where our loved one can go for therapy or skilled nursing care. In the last few years Wickliffe Country place has done so many wonderful things. They have a very qualified, caring nursing staff, a wonderful therapy department, a certified wound nurse on staff and a full time nurse practitioner among many other qualified health professionals. Recently they have renovated to have some private rooms so you can recover privately and go home. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Sorry for anyone who has had a bad experience but I would choose Wickliffe Country Place. more

Been there a few times on business. I would never place my worst enemy in this place let alone a loved one. The nurses mistreat the patients, some are very prejudice, The Supervisors are incompetent and rude. To be placed in a nursing home is scary enough but when you incompetent help and they treat you like your garbage, who wants that? Cons: Racist Nurses, Neglect, Supervisors incompentent. more

It sounds like your mad because they wouldn't allow your husband back. My grandmother was there recently and they were absolutely great to her, couldn't ask for a better staff or experiance despite the unfortunate events that brought her there. more

My husband was at this facility about a year and a half ago for continued wound care. While there the nursing assistants there decided they were going to threaten my husband who is paralyzed because he would not entertain their disrespectfulness. The individual who was acting very unprofessional was sent home and returned a few days later. Now my husband is in a situation where he needs wound care again and they will not take him back because of her unprofessionalism. I think this place is a joke. What type of facility allows their employees to disrepect patients and then refuse to take the patient back. This place should be shut down. The way they speak to the elderly patients there they should be ashamed of themselves. If people only knew what really went on there they would never allow their loved ones to remain there. Pros: The place was close to our home Cons: Employees are disrespectful, loud, management does not care how it's patients are talked to. more
