Best Place for Swim Lessons and Swim Team in town 1/30/2020

Both my children have gone through both the Swim School and Swim Team for the past 10 years. Great club. Consistent swim lessons and energetic swim coaches. This is the Swim Club in Kansas with most decorated swimmers (several Olympians) and College Swim Athletes. I am also impressed by volunteer efforts of this team. Keep it up swim club. more

Is it policy 8/6/2019

I have been taking my child to swimming lessons this summer. Every time the teacher comes out and only talks to one family and does not say a word or to me about my child. Is it policy to only acknowledge certain people and others don’t matter. I guess I’m not sure why my money is not as good as anyone else’s and that I deserve to not even be acknowledged. Is this something that they are told to do because if so it really needs to stop. more

Outstanding program 12/18/2018

There swimming program is second to none. Outstanding skilled polite staff. Our 2 grandchildren have excelled from the oldest granddaughter who is on the swim team to our grandson that started out his swimming program by learning at 3 years old the basic survival technique of rolling over face up and kicking his way to the side of the kids pool. He is now 6 and swimming in the full size pool. Staff have done a outstanding job his freestyle stroke is amazing and he is currently working on perfecting his side stroke. This is a no frills facility totally down to business with great results. All interaction with staff have been polite,focused and outstanding! Tony Tenbrink more

Dirty but they are working on it, or at least that is what they tell you. If you do not want your kids to get sick you need to stay away from this place. more

Dirty and poor service 3/13/2017

This place is a dump and lacks service. I can not tell you how dirty the place is it should be shut down. Signed my 2 kiddos up for swim lessons and was very disappointed. The Instructors are not very energetic or motivated. We are done here.... more

Happy Parent 5/31/2016

I had my child in a different program and had to move because the swim school we were in had to shut the doors. Since moving over to WSC I have noticed a huge improvement in my child's swimming. Before, he was doing a weird kick that looked like he was riding a bike and going nowhere. After a couple of months of working on kick, he now looks like a swimmer! I wasn't happy with having to change swim schools, but now see it as a Blessing. We are so happy at Wichita Swim Club. For all those who might think the place is a pit. You couldn't be more wrong. They have painted, put in new windows, and put in new lights. Somebody said they also have new lane lines in the large pool. Yes, it is an older pool. No, it isn't a health club. However, it is clean. more

Bad Experiance 4/28/2016

I do not ever take the time to write reviews but this was such a waste of time and money I wanted to share so others do not make the same mistake. I have a boy who is 3 and a 5 year old girl. They do not know how to work with kids nor are they able to communicate with parents. Not only were we unhappy with lessons the place is a pit. more

What the heck? 2/7/2016

Do not like the swim lessons here at all.The kids only work on one skill at a time in "stations" The swim teachers keep changing and are untrained and inexperienced. Then they tell us our child is acting out in class splashing and not sitting on the side. Well he is bored, waiting for his turn and only working on one skill for 30 minutes. I usually do not leave a negative review but this program is so bad. When you voice your concerns they are rude and dismissive. I agree with the majority of reviews on this site go some where else for swim lessons. more

Disaster 12/16/2015

Gave one star only because you had to select at least one. This place is falling apart and instead of cleaning it up and remodeling it is just patched at best. The level of teaching and coaching matches the condition of the facility. It feels like everyone is giving up because they know it is a sinking ship! Our family is finished here! more

Unsatisfied with the lessons, the Instructors, the facility and the process to enroll. Figured this would be better than they Y for swim lessons but I was wrong. We are done and will not return. more

Troubled 9/11/2015

Very unhappy with everything and everyone our family encountered here. It was like the place and people are working on providing a bad experience. Poor customer service, lack of focus in the teaching and coaching and the place is a pit. Following the crowd and moving to another swim team. Figure this place is going to go out of business. more
