Apparently this place has been around since 1978, which astounds me...it seems such a precariously-footed little eatery. I know the date because the interior features a signed/dated mural with a disturbing pot-bellied rabbit in it. The food is good but, I think, a little overpriced for the amount of taste you get. I like their breakfasts, especially their eggy-salsa-avocado messes, and they have some heavy duty soup, which once got me through a winter cold pretty well, and cookies and so on at the counter. It's nice to have a breakfast/brunch option which is small and local and healthier than, say, some other gravy-laden places I know about. They used to have brunch whenever, I'm pretty sure, but they don't anymore, so be warned.
