Whole Enchilada

The first time I went to The Whole Enchilada in Westbrook, I couldnt believe my eyes, the place that used to be an ice cream place, now had colorful walls, with a great painting all over it!! Of course i had to ask a lot of questions about the food, so finally I ordered a Spicy Chicken Burrito!! I never thought that Mexican could be HEALTHY!!! by the time i finished paying and got my coke, my Burrito was ready! !!! and it was BIG...I couldnt believe it!! PLease dont get me wrong, its not a Mc Donalds type of business. The food was fresh, and Pico de Gallo sauce, it was outstanding!! more

Ever been to Southwest US? This rivals much of the authentic southwest cuisine found in California, Texas, New Mexico. I really enjoy the pulled pork tenderloin and buffalo chicken. Fresh made right in front of you. Quick(not fast)food. Is made in a hurry. Usually in under 3 to 4 minutes. The large, and i do mean large, portions are enough for any appetite. And the fact that it is healthy(not that you would know from the taste) is only a bonus. Usually in this part of the country to eat ""mexican"" meant to feel sick afterwards from the grease. Not at The Whole Enchilada. I enjoy the interesting and creative and clean atmosphere. I have been to all three(Durham, Guilford, Westbrook) and the food is excellent and consistent at all three locations. As for price. It is a bargain for the amount and quality of food served in each meal. Pros: FOOD, FOOD, SERVICE more
