Who Does Your Hair

I have ""problem"" hair, including being very grey, but only my hair dresser, Janet, knows that. This requires frequent visits to the salon, something I always considered a tedious, but necessary task. However, since seeing Janet, I don't mind. Our conversations ranging from ""solving the problems of the world"" to just plain fun, make the time enjoyable while sitting there with goo and foil on my head. All of this is enhanced by the private booths provided by Who Does Your Hair. These things are all a plus to the fact that she also does a fantastic job with the styling and coloring!! More than just my hair dresser, I feel I have made a friend. more

I just had my bridal portraits taken on Monday and they turned out amazing! I see Dawn for my haircuts (she is great as well) and I was referred to Renee Daniels to do my hair and make-up for my wedding. I have always been a little weary of up-dos, since I do not like my hair to look slicked back or really flat. Renee really listened to my fear and did such a great job with my hair. It was exactly how I wanted it to look - no flat spots! She also did a great job with my make-up; she was very knowledgeable about ""photography"" make-up and knew what spots to highlight. I was very very pleased. I would definitely refer both Renee and Dawn to anyone! more

I started going to Janet before she worked at Who Does Your Hair. She is such a wonderful hair stylist I followed her when she came to Who Does Your Hair. And I am a very picky person about my hair as well.The perms and highlights are great and she gave me some great styling tips because I am someone who finds it hard to do my own hair and make it look nice. She always makes good suggestions for products for my hair. Janet always asks if there is anything new that I want to do and she listens and does exactly what you want. The salon over all is very clean and very peaceful. more

I have been going to Janet for many years now. She is very skilled at giving me the cuts and perms that suit me and my lifestyle. She will offer suggestions, but always listens to my input. Amanda did my hair today and I am so excited about it! I have been bored with my hair and wanting a change for some time now. I have long dark hair and didnt want to loose my length but really wanted a new look. She gave me all over color and beautiful caramel highlights that are placed perfectly to accentuate my new side sweep bangs. She added lots of texture to my cut and it just feels so new and fun! Anita has been my hairdresser of choice for quite some time now. The first time I went to her I did not know what kind of a style I wanted and she helped me find one that was just right for my face shape and hair texture. She is great with hair color and highlights. more

Tonya has been doing my hair for about a year and a half now and I have never been happier with it. She always asks questions about what I want, and what I like and don't like about the previous cut/color. When I'm undecided she'll make suggestions. I usually like her ideas better than mine! I have been searching for sometime for a great hair stylist and I found her at Who Does Your Hair and her name is Tonya Baine. I have naturally curly hair and she gave me the best hair cut I have ever had and the hightlights were great. I definitely recommend her 100% without a doubt. Traci Roberts is an excellent hair stylist and colorist. I have so many people ask me at work who does your hair, I love your color. She does an excellent job of covering my unwanted gray and makes my color look fabulous. She also does my daughter's hair which is very thick and her hair always looks wonderful. I go to Eve's Hair Gallery in Columbia, Maryland. Evelyn, the owner, has been my stylist for 10 years and I love her! Recently, I started taking my four year old daughter with me; she gets her hair braided while I get mine styled. Eve's Hair Gallery is an inspiring and friendly atmosphere. My daughter and I look forward to our special time together at Eve's - we both leave the salon looking fantastic and feeling great. I recommend Eve's Hair Gallery to all my friends. \r \r Evelyn is a wizard with highlights; I feel 10 years younger after getting up from her chair every time. And (knock on wood), I have yet to have a bad haircut from Evelyn - not only do I like how she styles my hair, but I usually get positive comments from my friends and coworkers when I get a new style from her. This was my second trip to Who Does Your Hair for a haircut by Kathy Bailey. The first trip was okay, she trimmed and highlighted my hair and informed me that haircuts were $30. I wasn't thrilled with the highlights (two very large stripes across the front) but the haircut was good. I made another appointment before I left. The second time I went (4 1/2 weeks later) was a disaster. I told her the haircut was good that I just needed a little trim to shape it back up. I left with what can only be described as a man's flat top haircut. My hair was about two inches in the back and 1/2 inch on the top and sides. Now to be fair, I have had a short haircut for awhile, but I have thinner hair on top and I wear it in a messy style that is several inches long. There was nothing that could be done with what I was left with. You can clearly see my scalp on top. Midway through I told her I thought it looked too short. She continued to cut. When she was finished she charged me $38 instead of $30, even though it required no hairdryer or styling whatsoever. As soon as she could see I was unhappy she was finished with me. She didn't offer to book another appointment she just led me out and greeted her next customer. Never said bye or anything. I would never see her again. The salon itself was clean and quiet, but I wouldn't recommend Kathy Bailey to my worst enemy. Disastrous haircut, worst I've had in years. I really like the way Traci P. does my hair. She does just what I ask for everytime. I enjoy talking to her about her kids and her new husband. I had the best experience this past week I got a new look to make me feel renewed for the fall. You know when you feel bad and blah and want to snap out of it well you can at the Best Salon I have ever been to my stylist was Lori and it was awsome i felt like a new person. I walked in blah and out HERE I AM , Mom's can be hot and I am now that I took time for myself. I also found out they (the salon ) are friends with a girl that has just opened up a Facial Spa in Wake Forest. How wonderful to have information on other ways I can Pamper My Self ... thinking about my christmas gift. \r I know that have a new website I will call Lori and find out, I think the Facial place has website also, I will post as soon as I find out. To all mom's out there Lori said that we can't give to others sometimes if we don't give to ourselves, she was right, my husband said what a change he saw in me, in every way if you feel better about yourself it's a win win situation and I feel like a more hip mom. I went to eve's hair gallery! It's a very friendly and welcoming place! and everyone there has so many different talents.
