Moving is very tough without a professional. So, whenever I have any plans for moving, I always book a mover ahead of time. This is not my first move so I know what preparations are required to relocate. I booked the service from White Glove Moving, the employees in the company are very helpful and courteous. They listened to all my problems and helped me accordingly. I do not have any complain against them. more

White Glove Moving is a great mover. This is not the only move but they had moved my sister as well and it was just the same feeling. She recommended me White Glove Moving but I still had a doubt. I called them and their rep informed me everything that was necessary for my move. I prepared just as they suggested me. the moving team arrived just on time and swiftly packed my belongings and made me all set for the move. Just wanted to post a note that we recently contracted with White Glove Moving and Storage for our move from New Jersey to Richmond, VA. We were very pleased with the level of service offered. Our estimate was accurate, there were no damages, and the delivery was on time. What impressed me most was the attention the delivery crew gave to setting up my furniture and the placement of my boxes in their appropriate rooms. I recently used White Glove Moving and Storage to move from Wood-Ridge, New Jersey to downtown Jersey City. I am normally not one to hop on web-sites and write reviews, but after having so many bad experiences with other moving companies, I felt that I needed to give credit where credit is due. My job has had me moving from city to city around the country and I have relocated in New Jersey twice. I cannot even begin to tell about the horrible experiences that I've had with other companies. White Glove had an estimator come to my home, and to my complete surprise, the final price of my move came to slightly less than what was estimated. This was a first for me. The workers looked clean, worked efficiently and took excellent care of my belongings. I have absolutely no complaints about these guys. I've moved 3 times locally and I finally felt as if i got my monies worth. Ray and his crew showed up on time(not always the case for movers) and were polite, clean and ready to get to work. I was offered a visual estimate when I first contacted them(something 3 other moving companies never did) and my estimator(Eli) quoted me $875 and I wound up paying $840 WOW !!!! Not only was nothing broken put Ray even tightened the legs to my dining room chairs !!! If that wasn't enough I received a phone call the next afternoon by the manager asking how my move went.. We moved our apartment from Illinois to Rhode Island thru White Glove. Lots of sales pitches and promises on proper care/delivery. They did pick up the stuff on time. The truck (with the White Glove advertisement on it) was loaded up nicely and all our stuff appeared secured. The stuff landed up in Rhode Island in a Penske truck. All our stuff in the truck appeared as if it was just thrown in and brought over to RI. Boxes that were nicely packed were ripped open. Our entertainment center was broken. We had kitchenware that were bent, literally! All indicative of how our stuff was handled along the way. I will not recommend this moving company to anyone, who is really interested in getting their stuff moved with care and proper handling! more
