James Wheat help me when I was falsely arrested. Generally speaking when you get arrested you are assumed guilty until you prove you are innocent. This can be a real problem if your best defense is the improper actions of law enforcement. Welcome to my world. Well I hired Jim and he argued my case and we Won. So if you're facing an uphill battle in defense if your innocents please by all means consult James Wheat, he's a real good listener and he's extremely qualified to challenge the court if it comes to that. more

James Wheat represented me in criminal case and it turned out not so bad. I expected at least twice the punishment from the courts than I got by accepting a plea deal the DA offered me. more

Attorney James Wheat represents Best in criminal law 9/9/2011

IMO, Attorney James Wheat represents the very best in criminal law in San Antonio Tx. He helped my brother through a DWI and having seen what can be given to others, my brother had to pay allot less and because he'd never had any legal problems his DA was more lenient than I expected. more

San Antonio Atty James Wheat 8/31/2011

My dad is a lawyer and helped me find Attorney James Wheat when I got arrested for DWI. He helped me to get through the process and back on my feet. Several things happened within the case and Jim was able to keep my penalty down, about 1/3 of what several other people before me got. I'm not happy it happened, but I'm glad Jim was there for me. more

My dad helped me find James Wheat when I got arrested for DWI. He helped me to get through the process and back on my feet. Several things happened within the case and Jim was able to keep my penalty down, about 1/3 of what several other people before me got. James Wheat is a Great Attorney 8/26/2011

I hired James Wheat to handle a DWI. I know that DWI's are bad but honestly I wasn't the one driving. We had to get a copy of the dash cam to prove someone screwed up the paperwork because clearly I wasn't the one driving. I owe James Wheat allot more than I paid him based on the quality of work he did. more

Jim Wheat is the Best in criminal law in San Antonio. He'll stick with you until the end of the case and he'll keep a level head about himself. Also, he's one of the few board certified attorneys in San Antonio - he's who other atty's in trouble turn to for defense, so it' doesn't get any better than that. more

Arrested as a Passenger w/ drugs in the Car !!! 8/16/2011

We were pulled over and the police found pot in the car and no one wanted to fess up to it. It really wasn't mine but since no one claimed it I was also arrested. I hired James Wheat and he was able to get my case dropped based on evidence he found in the police report and the fact I've never been arrested for anything before. It was a very scary process but it could have been worst and I have James Wheat to thank for that. more

When my Son was falsely arrested we didn't know what to do. We were desperate. We spoke to several lawyers. Jim really took the time to listen and understand the situation and I could tell he was experienced and proactive by his questions about my sons experience. Jim pulled the police report and was able to show the DA that my son was simply rounded up while being at the wrong place at the wrong time. The case was dropped and my Son learned a real good lesson, more importantly his record is still clean thanks to ( Jim ) James Wheat... more

And though " the System " kept throwing continuous punches at me and my disposition within the situation, Jim hung in there with me thru Hell.
