THIS PLACE IS A JOKE 9/10/2010

BEWARE CONSUMER ... Do not expect anything but your absolute worst nightmare out of Westway Cleaners in Ellisville. They do very bad work and are not afraid to take your money. If they screw up your clothes consider them dish rags. You will get no compensation except for an in house credit. Who in there right mind would want to return! That's how bad it is. more

THIS PLACE SHOUD BE SHUT DOWN 9/10/2010

The business practices & policies of Westway Cleaners in Ellisville , MO are an embarrassment to the St. Louis business community & the City of Ellisville. Basically, they refuse to stand behind their work. If they damage your clothing it is not their fault. The employees are rude & unprofessional when it comes to handling problems. It is unbelievable what they did to my wife's pants & sweater set. They are ruined & unwearable. They refuse to take any blame or compensate us in a JUST manner. They should have there business license revoked until they learn how to do business. more

FLEECED BY WESTWAY 5/8/2009

I've taken my cleaning here for years without issue but recently things have changed. I picked up a prom dress that obviously had not been drycleaned. There was no dry cleaning odor and no ticket on the dress. I spoke to Christie the so-called owner/manager and have never been treated so rudely in my life. She was rude from the beginning of the conversation and only offered me credit for half of the exorbitatnt amount it cost to ""clean"" the dress in the first place. Having been in management I would never treat a customer the way I was treated. She would never admit that a mistake could have been made. I will never take anything in there again! Terrible Customer Service 9/19/2008

I would not recommend taking your clothes to Westway Cleaners in Ellisville. The customer service and quality of work are laughable at best. If you drop your clothes off at Westway, you should consider yourself lucky if your clothes are even accounted for once you go to pick them up. When something does come up missing, all that they will offer is store credit. Which makes no sense because the last thing that you want to do is spend $50 or more to possibly have your clothing lost or damaged. It must be nice to be able to have no accountability for good service, and point to a sign near the register when someone has a problem. more

Taken to the cleaners by the cleaner 3/14/2007

Westway Cleaners in Ellisville offers among the area's lowest prices, but its quality is mediocre at best, service is not all that friendly and, if it happens to damage any of your garmets, the owner's daughter will claim total unresponsibility, pointing (after-the-fact) to a disclaimer sign hung over the register. Instead of doing the right thing, this cleaners will stick it to you. Avoid going here if you value your clothes. Pros: low prices Cons: questionable quality; no accountability for damage to clothes more
