I was referred to this practice by Harrison Hospital ER for followup care on an injured ankle. The first PA I went to was gentle, caring and answered all my questions. He said I had one fracture. When I returned one month later I saw another PA who was extremely rough in examining my ankle, jerking and pulling it this way and that. Even when I said ouch he continued what he was doing. WRONG!!!! tHe said I had 2 fractures. As a result of his exam my ankle again swelled and became extremely painful. I felt as though I had taken 3 steps forward and 2 backwards. The next day I called and complained and was given an appt. with an MD early the following week. This man said I had NO fractures and that PA #2 had done nothing wrong. Excuse me, being rough on a patient and causing more injury and pain is not professional. What galls me is that none of these 3 could agree on the same diagnosis.THis is past ridiculous. I have cancelled all further treatment with this clinic and taken it instead to my chiropractor who is a true professional and will see that I get the best care possible. If he finds that I need orthopedic treatment he will refer me to someone who knows what he is doing and will be gentle and caring, as all medical professionals should be. This has been my first experience with this clinic and most certainly my last. Please think long and hard before taking your orthopedic needs to this clinic. I personally would rather suffer than go back to them. Thank you for reading this and good luck.
Pros: The Latino PA is what I expect out of a medical professional
Cons: The others I saw were past terrible
