Westside Urology Assoc

Dr Schmidt's nurse treated me as if i were a burden because i'm in a wheelchair. She cancelled my appointmemt while i was in the waiting room blaming me i was not 20 minutes early and i was only 10 minutes early for the appointment. This was my first appointment to his office. She said that a procedure i was scheduled for (by the Tuality ER) would need to wait because their next appointment had been rescheduled so many times already. Since i had an immediate/emergency need to see a urologist because of dense bloody urine for 6 weeks i left the appointment and was immediately taken care of at st vincent hospital by a urologist. Today i received a certified letter from dr. schmidts office saying he could not treat me anymore. ANYMORE? i left his office because of incompetance and his office has the gall to send a certified letter stating that?! NOTHING LIKE KICKING A PERSON WHEN THEY ARE SICK. If anything they should have sent a letter of apology. I am so thankful St Vincent drs and nurses and thoughtful, thorough and responsive to emergencys. Dr Schmidt's office said to me 'the ER always says it's an emergency when appointments are scheduled' hmmmmm, how do offices like this stay in business? I have never written a review before but the actions of westside urology need to be reported. WORSE EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE more

terrible experience ~ office personnel kept messing up her reason for appointment ~ scheduled by ER dr ~ and prescribed pre-procedure meds she was allergic to (i ~ daughter) ~ caught before getting prescription filled ~ was on hospital records if they would read them....THEN wanted to rechedule emergency appt and lied that procedure was not going to happen anyway (after ER scheduled and office asked if she could transfer to bed since in wheelchair for that appt) just because computers were going down for maint at noon AND they wanted to take a patient they had rescheduled 3 times already...DISHONEST ~ RUDE ~ INCOMPETANT OFFICE....stay away if you want to be treated repectfully and with care...nurse said to go somewhere else if we wanted...we left and went to family dr immediately....my mother's family dr was appalled and immediately rescheduled at st vincent...TERRIBLE OFFICE PERSONNEL AND DOCTOR more
