An Auto Shop that I can trust with the safety of my family! 4/25/2011

I had heard about Westside Auto Pros from a neighbor and took my SUV in for a routine oil change and inspection... they were clean, polite, professional, and very nice to my young children. They let me know that my tires were no longer considered safe - and then I remembered my Dad telling me the same thing about 2 months ago! They took the time to make sure I got the best deal on safe tires for my family and they took care of it right away so we could still take it on vacation 3 days later. I was SO glad I took it in to Westside before we went out of state on those tires with my family. What a pleasant experience! more

Dependable, fast service with a smile 4/17/2011

Had another great experience at Westside Auto Pros on Friday. These guys must be putting other shops out of business - truly remarkable service! I've been bringing my Chevy Blazer into Westside since last July (on a friend's recommendation) and I'd never consider going anywhere else, even though I live on the east side of DM. more

Great Service on my Saturn 10/16/2010

I was not sure where to take my Saturn when the dealer closed. I went to Westside Auto Pros after seeing a tv commercial. They are very close to where the dealer was. I always was pleased with the service at the Saturn dealer, but the friendly people at Westside were even better. If you need your Saturn repaired, go to this place. more

First Visit Was Great 4/18/2010

When my Toyota was due for a timing belt I wanted to avoid the expensive prices at the dealer so I found Westside Auto Pros here on Judy's Book. I made an appointment online and everything worked out well. I also had my oil changed while it was there. They provided me a loaner car at no cost for the day. It was a very nice loaner, a newer Nissan. The Toyota dealer has never offered me a loaner. My car was done on time and I will recomment them to my friends. more

Helpful People 3/29/2010

My door locks kept trying to unlock on their own. When I called for an appointment, they said to come in that day. They came out to my car to see what it was doing. Their guy noticed right away that one of the buttons on my remote was stuck, he freed it up and everything was fine. It was a simple fix and I was on my way in a few minutes. more

Believe what you read, they are that good. 2/17/2010

After reading all of their reviews online my expectations of this place were pretty high. They delivered. Car repair in general is expensive and not something I enjoy, but it is a fact of life. Believe what you read, this place is not the cheapest in town, but they are very good at what they do and fair. From the loaner car to the final bill, I was very pleased. more

Very Satisfied 1/31/2010

I discovered this place about 2 years ago. I have always been very satisfied with their service. Their prices are fair, and nothing is ever done without my approval..... I mean nothing, they even ask for approval prior to replacing a tail light! I like this form of honesty and no surprises when it comes time to pay my bill. A very clean and organized place. I go there for oil changes and just bought new tires from them. I am pleased with them and I am sure you will be too. more

A Customer for 6 Years 1/24/2010

I have been using these people for 6 years. They are honest. It might not be the cheapest place to go, but they will not sell you stuff you do not need. They give advice about things I can do to prevent problems. Hands down the best place for car repair. They are dependable. more

Good People 11/2/2009

We used to go to a shop down the street from Westside, but they always seemed rushed and never had time to discuss or explain repairs to us. Not so at Westside. Ron, Brian, and Jeff always take the time to explain things to us in plain talk that is understandable. Their prices are good, and the quality of work is tops. Everyone you deal with at Westside is very professional, including the shuttle drivers. You can tell that everyone cares about solving your problem. Try them, you will not regret it. more

There when I needed them 5/3/2009

My van started to sputter the day before I was to travel to Minneapolis. I called and explained my situation to Penny. She told me the schedule was full, but to bring it in and they would see what they could do. The were able to find the problem that afternoon and fix it the next morning, saving my trip. That is why I go there, they are real people who understand daily life and my hectic schedule. Thank you Penny and everyone at Westside Auto Pros. more

Always Fixed Right ! 12/27/2008

I have used these guys for over 11 years since they first opened. While they have grown and expanded over the years, Ron and Paul, the original owners, are still there. Actually, the staff rarely changes, which is nice because they get to know me and my car. The price is alwys exactly as quoted and my car is always fixed. I have NEVER had to take it back because it was not done right. Most of the time I make an appointment, but they always seem to have time for an emergency like when my windshield wiper came off! Their shuttle service is very handy, and when they had my car for three days to rebulid my transmission they gave me a free loaner car. This is a great place that has grown, but not lost sight of customer service. more

Honest people, fast service 7/17/2008

My car quit moving on the way to work. I had it towed to a transmission shop in Urbandale. They wanted to rebuild the whole transmission. A co-worker suggested I gat a second opinion from Westside Auto Pros. They did some tests and determined it was not my transmission, but a broken flywheel.They fixed it the next day and saved me a lot of money with an accurate diagnosis. I now take my car to them for everything. Wade the shuttle car driver is very funny! This is a great place. more

I have been going to Westside for almost 5 years. They are honest and in tune to satisfying their customers. They always let me know what my options are and help me plan for maintenance to keep my car running and reliable. Their free loaner cars keep me moving while mine is in the shop. more

West Side Auto Pros Repairs or maintenance 11/14/2005

I have been using these guys for 10 years now and have watched them emerge froma small town Amoco mechanics station to their own business. Yhey are so thorough. If there is a car problem, and I have had them all, they will find the ailment. They are literally Nascar material. They are perfectionists though...and with that comes many reccomendations to "fix it all" which sometimes need to be sorted out...as well as pricey, but they semm honest and they know thier stuff!! more
