EMPLOYEES LOVE THEIR JOB 12/30/2010

My child and I just love this dental office. You can tell the employees LOVE what they do!!! We were on the older side this past time (for the first time in years) and the two nurses were unbelievable. They were so full of energy and made my child feel so welcome and comfortable. She is still talking about them to her friends. She tells everyone to go see Dianne and Tracy. Thank you Western Heights for making my child feel so special. We have been patients there for over 15 years and yes, you have to wait, but I am grateful for honest work and good people. I know people who are paying thousands of $$$ for dental work and they are still having to wait in the waiting room. Keep up the good work. I'll pass our KIND words along to the rest of the world. more

I LOVE THIS CLINIC !! 11/18/2010

I absolutely LOVE this clinic !!. I would NEVER take my children ANYWHERE else. Dr. Sharp and his staff are the finest I have ever met. At times I have had to wait a while to be seen but it is worth it. They take the time to listen to your concerns, both the children's and the parents. The Dental Hygienist are just great. They treat my children like their own, kidding around with them. They are passionate and considerate of the concerns of both the children's and the parents. more

Great envoirnment for kids 12/17/2009

My one year old needed to have alot of work done and they initially wanted to put him to sleep. But something in my heat told me that it was the wrong thing to do. I cried for nealr an hour before making thedecision to have it done in the office. The nurse listened and told me ""god gives you, your intuition for a reason, if it doesn't feel right, then it probably isn't.' A week later he had eight of his teeth worked on by a different doctor ( a really nice lady) and even though they had to restrain him he didn't shed one tear or make a single noise.\r \r They made him so comfortable that it wasn't necesssary to use anything other than the numbing medication. They gave him such praise and agreed that i had been right when i said that he could handle. He still , a year later, shows off his beautiful smile. He is so proud of it. Pros: Listens to what you want Cons: ? more

Good with the Bad... 10/20/2008

My son had to have alot of work done due to a fall at the park. We chose WH because of their ability to do the work at Children's. His visit was great and his procedure went great with great results. The dentist listened to my concerns and actually did what I asked. I also love the fact that unlike alot of places i have been to they encourage parents to "go back" with the kids. That was key to getting my son treatment. The only complaint other than time is the hygienists. Well one in particular. I don't know her name but she is older than the rest. She is very snooty. She always talks down to people if their child needs work done. In my opinion if these people didn't care about their kids they wouldn't even be at the dentist's office. The others that I have encountered are great. They talk to my kids and get then laughing. It is great for their nerves. more

To busy 9/15/2008

I took my son in for a tooth to be pulled. After the dentist made the injection to numb my sons mouth he waited less then 2 minute to begin pulling the tooth. My son was in agony because the area was not numb yet. The tooth broke because of the aggressive way the dentist was trying to pull it, and he had to then dig the tooth out. In my opinion the dentist was in a hurry because of the number of patients in the waiting room and the lateness of our appointment. This office is always over booked. more

Ran from building 7/17/2008

We never made it to the dentist. We were referred to them because I have a special needs child. First the area of town was very shadey, then there was a terribly long wait, but I'm glad we had the wait because as I read the forms I found a notation that asked for my permission to restrain my child in case he was uncorroperative. I asked the receptionist about it and she said they regularly restrained their special needs patients. So, I packed up my children and never looked back. more

i don't trust them 4/23/2008

i was very upset with the treatment my son received here. my son had a tooth pulled, which was originally supposed to be a cap and nobody x-rayed his mouth or even cleaned his teeth on the original appointment. If an x-ray had been performed, no drilling would have been necessary. soon there after, my child was histerical and they ordered me to leave the room. that was terrifying for both of us, and afterward i found a new dentist. more

Absolutely Awesome!! 1/18/2007

My daughter went to a local dentist and refused to have a procedure done. He referred us to Western Heights. The staff there is great!! Very friendly and know how to put patients at ease. My daughter is having more work done, and actually doesn't dread the dentist anymore!! Thanks Western Heights! more

Western Heights Dental: An Answer to Our Prayers 12/13/2006

My son and I went to 4 different dentists and no one could help us except for Western Heights. My son had an extreme fear of dentists, but the team at Western Heights were wonderful with him! My last option was to have him put to sleep to get his dental work done, but we didn't have to go that route because of Western Heights. I highly recommend them to everyone! Thanks Western Heights!!!\r Nora and kyler Monday more

Tooth Nazi 12/5/2005

My son had to have a tooth extracted and I was treated with hostility by the staff. I understand that they act this way because they believe that a lot of parents neglect their children and try to get "free" painkillers for themselves. Since that was not the case with me, I resented being treated like that. One of the staffers scared my son badly and it has taken a lot to get him to go back to a dentist because he thinks everyone is going to be "scary" PROS: they allowed us to borrow X-rays for another dentist CONS: too many to list more

very caring dentists and hygenists 11/2/2005

This place is very busy, the wait is really long BUT the dentists treat maily children and they are wonderful with them. They hygenists are also really sweet and kind to the kids. the cost is about typical for this service and the wait time there can be as much as an hour. They are worth the wait, if you have the time. PROS: great dentisit & hygenists CONS: loooonnnnggg wait. more
