Western Farm is a great place to go for any and all pet/livestock needs. The staff is always helpful with advice...and offering carry out service. I continued to shop there when I lived in Windsor/Healdsburg and even drive from Cotati now to get my kitties their goods from them. more

Discounts, too 2/17/2011

I agree with all of the above and add that they accept the Savings Card which gives a 5% discount on all items.\r \r They have a very important bulletin board, too where one can leave a note for a lost pet or one for adoption or sale. more

Great Store! 6/18/2010

By far and away the best feed store in Sonoma County. I have 5 cats, which various health issues, requiring a variety of food types. They have a great selection of cat foods, both dry and canned. Also, I LOVE that they allow adoptable cats to be displayed at the store. Very charitable business. Highly recommend it! more

Best pet store in Santa Rosa. 11/1/2005

Western farm provides all times of animal feed. From horses, to guinea pigs, they have different brands that can best fit your pet's need. What I enjoy most about this store is the bulletin board next to the automatic doors. There are postings for puppy adoptions, horses, and more. There are also little ducklings and chicks available for purchase (which are adorable by the way!) It's a great atmosphere to do your pet shopping :). more

Amazing selection 7/27/2005

This is a huge feed store that sells everything. They have very good prices. I bought guinea pig food at a competitor store for $3.99 lb, at western feed I can get it for $.89 lb. They sell live stock feed, and supplies along with everyday house pet supplis and some exotic pet supplies. As for live animals thay have chickens, roosters, doves and a selection of small pet birds, small animals (rodents), Chicks, and ducklings. They have a large selection of horse supplies, dog & cat supplies and a garden section. PROS: Cheap CONS: more

Great place to buy pet food! 6/23/2005

They have a great selection here of dog and cat food. They also have tons of really neat treats for puppy like pigs ears, hoofs, and bully sticks. They always help me get that 40lb bag of dog food out to the car and everyone is always friendly. more
