Western Dental & Orthodontics

Took 2 wks to get app. In pretty bad pain.i get there and wait for 2 hrs than exrays. Then put in chair for another hr. Some women comes in and without introducing herself tells me that all my teeth need to be pulled..then she says she can pull just 4 teeth and if I sign the papers they will do 3 dentures for $400 dollars and to write them a check .so I'm thinking at least I can get this done that day. They take impressions. Then they send me back out front where they tell me that's it and that I need to make another app. But there is nothing available. So they give me a prescription for penicillin and send me on my way 4 hrs later. Was so sick at that point was like a cow being herded around. I hear nothing for 2wks. then they call and tell me there are no app. Available. At this point I tell them enough is enough and I'm done with them and want my money back. Then 2 wks later they call and say they have an app. For me. I tell them again that I want nothing to do with them. Now they tell me I have to drive 60 miles to there office to cancel, and they still want there $400 . I'm sick on medical cant work. They now call 4times a day to harass me . I have no money ,and they want me to pay for abbsolutly nothing. I received nothing , medical paid for exrays. I would pull my own teeth before I would trust these people. They are rude and have no compassion . Would love some advice more

The worst dental experience ever.....I had to wait 1 1/2 hr for my appointment and then all the dentist did was look at the X-rays for about two minutes and said I was done.. Besides the extra extra long wait and the dentist that didn't know what a dental cleaning was...the receptionists were very rude ....I now will pay more for dental insurance to see a better dentist..... more

I was there for a cleaning and also got told i needed a root canal, i was a little dirty, not too much privacy i was there for a total of maybe about 2 and half hours., i decided to get a second opinion , well turns out i had no cavity and didnt need a root cana.. Pros: null Cons: null more

I have been going to Western Dental at this location in S.M. for years now. I drive all the way from Paso Robles which is just over an hour. They always get me in right away when I call to make an apt. especially for emergencies. They work with people on a payment plan, which is great. The staff and receptionists are always nice , the place is clean and Dr. Silva is wonderful. I would highly rec. this Western Dental. If there is a wait it will be worth it and it's because so many people do go to this Western Dental. more

my appointment was at 10 am and i didn't see anyone until 11:15 and then the x ray technician left me in the room for 20 more minutes. After the x rays i was taken to another room where i waited for 45 minutes before the dentist showed up. He looked at my teeth for like two minutes and said i had no cavities but my wisdom teeth needed to be removed. . . i already knew that . . . and that i would need to see a specialist for it. the next available appointment was in a month and a half. . . sorry but my jaw is swollen today i will gladly take my business elsewhere since they have horrible costumer service. if the dentist only saw me for two minute why was i there for two and half hours? Thankfully the two receptionists who helped me saved this trip from being a complete disaster, unfortunately it wasn't enough to keep me from walking out. After a long wait to get in ( nearly an hour and I was the ONLY one in the waiting room) I was taken to get xrays. The technician asked ME what he should be xraying, and when I asked what the insurance I purchased from them covered, he had to go ask because he had, and I quote, " No idea." Finally I was shown to a room and I was grateful for the extended time I was left in there because it gave me a chance to look around, the place was filthy. Grime and particles of who knows what covered various surfaces. The containers holding guaze and the q tip things contained one or two items each and were dirty. There were no sinks in the room so I couldn't be sure my dentist even washed her hands. I choose to leave at this point. Pros: the receptionists tried to be helpful Cons: filthy and slow more

Avoid at all costs, no hygiene, receptionists not professional and rude to patients, insane wait time over two hours Pros: They take Medi-Cal Cons: Everything else you can possiblly think of more
