I rented from Western Associates for over two years and the majority of my interactions with them were negative. more

My family and I have been renting from WA for almost 2 years, and in that time, we've only had one issue that we needed to dispute, and they worked with us till it was resolved to everyone's satisfaction. All repairs have been attended to in a timely fashion (yes, sometimes, they may take a day or two, but that's understandable as they contract out for service). The property is well maintained and the staff that contacts us for any needs are always friendly and willing to explain their reasons for decisions that are being made. Notifications for property inspections are always at least a week before the scheduled visit. All in all, I'm satisfied with them and appreciate a property management group that not only has a sense of humor, but doesn't bat an eye when informed that applying tenants keep reptiles. The roof on our rental Leaked EVERY time it rained, so they would send a roofer out and he would say the same thing every time, and that was, that it couldn't continue to be fixed because it simply needed a new roof badly. Of course (Debbie) the landlord didn't care, they actually told us that's why we payed cheap rent. That wasn't the worst. The worst part was when we moved out they kept our deposit and charged us for a damaged window, that was documented damaged when we moved in. They only kept our deposit because they knew we had moved out of state, and couldn't afford to come back to fight them in court, but believe me I would have had I not moved. the landlord/western associated are just mean spirited people, only looking out for themselves. They'll try to swindle the working class out of every last penny they can by any means possible. BEWARE!! Pros: none! Cons: wont fix anything, kept our deposit for no good reason. more

the other reviews are all true. this rental mangament company is a joke. their office is as beat up as their properties, and the employees are rude and lazy. you will have nothing but headaches from these people. i have dealt with them twice and both times i was treated like $%!T. it amazes me they are still in business. maybe they just liked PITBULL TERRIER guy or maybe that was the only place dumb enough to rent to him so he was stoked just to find a place. but for the rest of us w/ out high risk animals AVOID THIS SHOTTY ESTABLISHMENT!!! dont listen to the other stupid crackhead reviews. frankly, I havnt rented form this company for long, but my opinion so far is great. They were very nice to me and my girlfriend, welcoming, fair and non-judgemental. I have a male PITBULL TERRIER and to find anyone in this town who will give you the time of day, not to mention a home to live, is rare, and they did... In a town full of rude, dog-hating, unfair, bias jerks in the prop mngmt system, WA was great. I would have never found a home for me, my gf, and our loving dog if it wasnt for their caring, patients and willingness to give us a shot. THX AGAIN W.A. Rude employee's who treat there tenants horrible!! Never make reapir's and if they do they charge you for them!! Every month you will get a three day notice to move even if your rent is on time!! My mom rented from them for 12 years and they treated her like dirt! They would walk in on her without notice! They never fixed anything! We had a insect infestation for 2 years and they did nothing. We had to get rid of them ourselves. The stairs were falling apart and both me and my sister fell and got hurt. They said it was our fault and refused to fix it are pay the medical bills. Then a old tree fell though the roof and we had to call the city on them to get it taken care of! Cons: They are horrible!!!!! more

I have rented from Western Associates for six years now and have had nothing but great experiences when working with them. I was supprised to find so many negative comments about them, but after reading thru the previous five reviews, I have come to the conclusion that it is the same lame person. Don't you have anything else to do with your time than make up false claims? I bet that they do not have a high school diploma...shouldn't have dropped out of school. Whoops. Since you keep saying that Robin is a meth head, the saying goes ""it takes one to know one."" I hope you never lived by me cause you were probably cooking meth which would explain your botched hair and deteriorating teeth. Back to Western, they are very responsive with all my maintenance calls and I have so far enjoyed working with them. To the reviewee who keeps crying wolf...sober up, get a life and I know this might be asking a bit much, but go back to high school and just try for that diploma. These guys never fix anything, and have lost 2 of our rent checks. I have to get everything fixed by the house owner, not the people managing it. Ridiculous. The only time I hear from them or see them is if they mess up and lose our check, or if they're upset that I went over their heads to get repairs on the house done. Run far. Run fast.
