Stay Away! 6/14/2011

Stay away from this horrible place. I was a resident for three years in the Westmoreland building. While the lobby is nice, the actual apartments are old and falling apart. During my stay, the air conditioner units, kitchen sink, toilet, and bathroom sink ALL broke and it took weeks to get maintenance. The management was running out of money so they had problems getting trash picked up every week and maintenance finished. People were having their cars broken into and getting robbed at night because of lax security! \r \r Upon moving out I was presented with a bill to replace the entire carpet in my apartment! These crooks decided to take some minor damage (about 10 square feet) and make me pay for the entire replacement of the carpet. Stay away! more

This place needs a lot of work 12/18/2008

Renovations were done recently on this old building. The lobby is beautiful, no doubt that is where a lot of the money was spent. The heating and cooling can not be regulated in each unit. At times, during the coldest part of winter, the heat was non existent. Laundry was a joke here, one washer in the building where I lived. Forest Park is just a walk away, which was great, but not worth it. I would not recommend this place to anyone. more
