Pleasant experience 9/29/2014

I took my children to West Deptford eye care. My daughter was new to contacts and a very friendly tech sat with her for over an hour teaching her how to insert and remove the contacts. When my daughter became frustrated the tech calmed her down and encouraged her to continue. The Dr. was nice and very informative. We did have to pay for what they called a "Fitting fee" but we were more then happy to considering how detailed they are with the procedure. We will definitely return!! more

I won't go back 3/21/2008

I, too, went there because it was close by and they accepted my insurance. The first time I went, my $30 copay included a contact lense exam. I went to make another appointment and was told that for a contact lense exam, I would have to pay the $30 copay plus an additional $85 for a contact lense fitting for a total of $115. I don't understand why the first time it was only $30 and know he wants $115. I really wasn't that impressed with the doctor either. It's my opinion that West Deptford Eye is cheating the insurance companies as well as the patients and providing less than adequate care. MA more

I'm not returning. 9/29/2005

I went here because it was close by and was covered by my insurance. The front desk was friendly enough, but the opthamologist actually argued with me about my being able to see correctly! My previous prescription (from another doctor) was not taken into consideration and he insisted he was right. When this affects my driving and ability to see signs, you can bet that I'm not coming back for all of my eye care needs. more
