I called them about a delinquent hospital bill on my credit report. When I called I was transferred to Billie Jean who was my case manager. She was extremely helpful and cheerful and walked me through the history of my account (I had no idea about it) and when I expressed concern about not knowing what the bill is for, and because they had no further info, sent me all they had on file so I could look at the hospital codes and call my insurance provider. more

These are horrible and rude people! They call my work, my mother across state, and my phone number so many times that I had to change the number I've had for 13 years! I have noproblem paying this hospital bill to the hospital, but the bill was from 2005, and I just started getting harrassing calls this year! After the interest has more then doubled the bill! They made threats of garnishment, they have made me and my mom cry several times, called my boss and threatened to garnish me! So I contact an attorney, who tells me they looked them up and they are not even registered as debt collectors in Washington State and told me to contact my attorney General IMEDIATELY and file a complaint. THey toldme they don't even know how they are collecting debt right now and probably aren't paying taxes on the amounts they are collecting. I am waiting to hear back before I give these people a dime! more

I have worked with the West Coast Adjustors staff for four years and find them to be fair and kind. In these hard times they understand it is hard for people to pay on the time table set up by others and are willing to work with you. The staff at WCA are the best and I look forward to working with them for years to come! more

These bastards break every statute and rules of decency in the performance of debt collection. They are rude & abusive. I'm surprised that they don't call around the clock. They sure don't mind calling seven days a week (though only during the hours they should). They were so bad, we told them to contact us only by mail. Then we ran out of money so they took us to court. Now we owed the principal debt, their exhorbitant interest, court costs and attorney fees. We couldn't pay the original bills, what makes them think we can pay this, now that it's almost doubled? We go to court and they win. Gee, now they are rewarded for being evil, greedy obnoxious bastards who violate state law as often as they can. As long as their tactics work, they won't change. I agree with another reviewer. I'd give them negative stars if I could. They have had four reported complaints with the BBB in the past twelve months. I am really surprised it's not off the scale. more

this is the worst company ever !!!!!!! they stock you non stop. harrassing everyone you work with. just sooooo out of line. i dont even owe them money and they were the biggest dicks i've ever talked to on the phone. you can tell the person on the other line has a meaningless, misserable life and love seeing others struggle. it reeks off her breath that comes through the sound wavesinto your phone killing any kind of joy you had. how do you sleep at night knowing you are a waste of skin bringing misery to every person that picks up the other end of the phone line. most unprofesional more

This company is horrible! THey are rude and do not give a rats ass about anyone else but them making money. All I wanted was a statement stating I paid my debt but they refused to give it to me. I had to have the company that wanted it call them and conference me in and give my permission!! What a waste of time! I hope these people can sleep at night!!! Jerks!!! more

West Coast Adjusters are a greedy collection agency . They have been garnishing my wages on a principle of $14,000 I have paid $7,000 into it and I still owe $9,500.00 they keep adding interest,atourneys fees every 60 days this seems like it will never end they don't care if my family starves to death all they care about is screwing people out of there hard earned money,they are worse than any bank as far as adding interest,they are in the business of making money from hard working citizens,while they lose there houses and starve to death !overall they are the worst collection agency ever once they have a garnishment,they will not even try yo work with the individual,because they can get more money out of them. west coast adjusters should be shut down,they SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!i more

I know if I worked somewhere that collected debt and someone called me when they just found out their exwife fraudulantly place things under their SSN but false name, and there was a $4,700 debt i was trying to collect i would try to keep them on the line and not threaten to hang up and then say that i have another call coming in and tell the debtor that either they pay it or im going to hang up, but thats just me. And I asked for a detailed list of what they were charging me and for what services were rendered under my name he told me that it was none of my business. WOW great job guys. One employee from this agency calls me at my home and asks for someone named Donald. No one by that name lives here. She asks, ""Do you know Donald?"" I recently made a call to this company asking them kindly to send me a reciept of my passed payments, they told me to send them a stamped envelope and we will send it to you. I have never ever recieved that kind of service which tells me they are cheap and lazy and can't get off there own butt. If they can get millions of dollars from people atleast they can do is send a simple reciept paid. more
