You are crazy not go to Dr. Munn if you don't have a vet that you love and trust! West Cary Animal Hospital is a smaller private practice, and he's the only person working out of there so they always know who I am when I come in. Dr. Munn takes time getting to know you and your pets, gives you options for things, and is just an overall great guy to go to when you need something. He's so good with animals, my dog loves him! He has a sense of humor, and doesn't pressure you to do things that you don't want to do. He'll give you an honest opinion about what is best and I will never go anywhere else! Words alone cannot describe how impressed I am with Dr. Munn's practice and his staff. His manner is soothing and kind, and I can tell he truly cares about how my two dogs are feeling. I love the fact that he gets down at my dogs' level to examine and treat them, rather than hoisting them onto a slippery table, which only increases their anxiety. I especially appreciated the fact that, a few days after a particular treatment, I received a follow-up email from Dr. Munn, inquiring how my dogs were feeling. It's nice to know that my dogs' veterinary care extends even beyond the office.\r \r Dr. Munn has always been honest and fair. Our two cats were very ill just before a trip out of state for a family crisis. We boarded them with West Cary Animal Hospital. Dr. Munn and staff took excellent care of them. Dr. Munn kept us updated daily on their progress and what treatments they needed. He was careful to balance the price with good care. We highly recommend this vet and his wonderful staff. more

This is the most awesome vet's office that I've had the privilege of visiting with my pets!\r \r Although they're small, everyone in the clinic knows who you are. I never have to give my name to the front desk -- they greet me by name (and my pets by name!) as I walk in. They remember me and my pets, and often ask me about them as I'm in picking up Frontline or other necessary supplies.\r \r The manner with animals is unmatched. When our dog recently decided she was afraid to have a vaccine given nasally, she was comforted and they went back and pulled the needle version instead. Our elderly cat is terrified of the vet, and they were all gentle, comforting, and calm with him.\r \r Overall, I have not had a better experience at a vet, and I'd recommend anyone in the area checking them out. more

These are people who offer the same standard of care to their clients' pets as they would their own. Dr. Munn is excellent with animals and very honest about what is necessary. Even more impressive, he is honest about what is not necessary, which is a great quality in a vet. This guy is not in it for the money, it's truly about what's best for your pet. Amber and Kristin are great and very helpful - it is so nice with the small staff that if you ever need boarding, or your pet needs a procedure, you know and trust exactly who will be taking care of them. With West Cary Animal Hospital the adage "good things come in small packages applies." Dr. Scott Munn's animal hospital is small, but is fully equipped! He is wonderful with our animals and really has gotten to know our family. He and his staff are truly wonderful people that have a special way with animals.
