Made initial appointment for daughter and missed appointment due to family emergency in another state. The last thing on my mind was that appointment. I didn't even think of the missed appointment until the day after when I received a bill for 75 dollars for missing the appointment. I called her to let her know I had no knowledge of the 24 hr notice policy and of our family misfortune and would she reconsider the 75 fine. She didn't see anything wrong with charging me for a missed first appointment even with my not not being aware of the policy. I've talked with a few other counselors that say it's strange to charge for a missed first appointment especially without communicating the missed appointment policy. Would not recommend. more

Wonderful Marriage Counseling 7/18/2005

This is a wonderful counseling service. It is around $95 a session unless you have insurance. Also, they have a sliding fee, depending on your income per yr. This is a Christian based counseling, that helps spiritually and emotionally. You will probably have sessions together and seperately. I recommend this to anyone who has a problem communicating or just wasn't able to get counseling before marriage. It is really a good learning experience for you and your spouse. It is also a good way to talk about things that you both get heated about. more
