I Stand By this Vet Clinic 1/27/2015

I have been taking my pets to Wells Branch Pet and Bird Clinic’s north location since 2009. I was initially drawn to the clinic because of the coupons in the Austin Chronicle. I had to find an alternative to the outrageous vet bills and “recommended add-ons” for my two pets. Once I brought my elderly cat in for a visit, I was hooked as all of the staff demonstrated themselves to be caring, knowledgeable and compassionate people who never tried to up sell me. The fact that they are open 7 days a week with evening hours M-F has been extremely helpful with my busy schedule. I highly recommend the clinic and its staff to take care of your precious babies. more

Excellent veterinarian 5/6/2011

I've spoken at length with the owner/veterinarian of this facility and she's an amazing vet. She knows her stuff thoroughly and even provides free information and video tips to pet owners (how rare is that?) via their website at PetAndBirdClinic.com. Also spoken to at least 6 other clients of theirs who have great reviews as well. more

I heard some things about this place. My friend had job with this place for about a week before she quit. They train their employees and place stinks. Not like the normal animal smell it's supposed to have, but urine like smell. Go to a different clinic if you want good treatment for your pet. more

pet and bird clinic 10/5/2005

The wells branch pet and bird clinic is the best. I took my dog in and they treated him as well as any human would expect to be treated. He was a little nervous at first, but with the warmth they provide in there, he was comfortable with the staff in no time. I would recommend it to anyone who has pets. more

Awful Pet Care - No Compassion! 8/26/2005

I took my first Cat to this place to have her fixed and it was the most horrible experience. I can only imagine what she went through at that place! I picked her up later that day and they didn't even bother to clean her up after surgery! The blood was all matted on her belly and she was crying in pain. I can only speculate but I would never take an animal there again. Didn't see anyone but the receptionist when we dropped her off and when we picked her up. No communication, only an after surgery care sheet that was so distorted I couldn't read it. Found a new Vet after that!! more

  • Hi. I am the owner of our clinics. I was born in India. My family immigrated to the United States in 1976 when I was 11 years old. Since then, Texas has been my home. I did my undergraduate education at Texas A & M University and received my veterinary degree from the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 1990. I moved to Austin, Texas to practice medicine. After working as an associate veterinarian for 2 years, I purchased the clinics from the previous owner. You may see my cat Little Kitty running around the clinic from time to time.
