I have enlisted the services of Wellborn for about ten years and have never been disappointed. In May of 2016 they replaced a ten-year-old spring and, just recently, they serviced...

Worst

I had issues with a Genie opener and was told by the Welborn technician that the circuit board was bad and could not be replaced and recommended that I purchase a new opener for $...

Jason came to look at my garage door which was making strange noises. I purchased the house a year ago, so Jason was kind enough to tell me all about the door - the good and the bad. He helped me understand some things that will need to be done soon. He provided great customer service! more

Friendly, punctual and competent tech 7/31/2013

This was our first experience using Welborn Garage Doors and it won't be our last. The entire experience from booking the appointment to having the job completed by the tech was pleasant. The tech replaced our rollers and tuned up the door quickly, neatly and competently. more

5-Star service with great response time and excellent Technician 7/30/2013

Found ourselves with both cars trapped inside the garage and a broken spring above the door. Since it was almost 2:30 pm I didn't have much hope of getting anything accomplished today. Boy was I wrong. Brian showed up at 3:45 pm and went to work. The guy is great; knowledgeable, great customer service skills and clearly a pro. He was finished by 5:00 pm. There was no attempt at up-selling, no hassle, and no problems. He answered every question and explained every stage of the repair. Thanks to all for a great response and a quick repair. You guys rock! more

Fast, Reliable, Quality Service for a Great Price 7/26/2013

Services included Fixing Broken Spring, New Garage Door Installation, New Opener Purchase and Installation, to ongoing Tune Ups and Nylon Rollers Installed. Every occasion was handled with quality products, in a timely and professional manner. Fast, reliable, and reasonably priced...a home run. 7/25/2013

When I went out to leave for a meeting, the garage door wouldn't lift. I looked at an notice that the spring had broken. So I need to take the other car and asked my wife to try and get it fixed. She called Welborn (found on Angie's List). While at my meeting, she sent me a text saying the door was fixed. I was very happy. Later, she told me the person who came out was very nice and professional. We will call Welborn again if we ever need garage door work. And yes, I will recommend them to other. Job well done. Great Job on Servicing My Garage Door 7/23/2013

DW came out and serviced my garage door as part of Angieslist's Big Deal. He did a great job of tightening all the hardware, oiling various components and replacing all the rollers. The garage door works great now and I am well pleased with the service. I highly recommend Welborn for garage door work. more

Tune up repair 7/22/2013

My service guy, Jason, was very nice and seemed highly trained. He did a great tune up and replaced some of my bearings to help the door move a lot quieter and more efficient. I would recommend them. more

The technician was on time, he explained what happened, gave me options in repairing, and completed the work in 30 minutes. He also recommend so do-it-yourself things I could do to help extend the life of the garage door. more

Strongly Advise to NOT use!!! 7/19/2013

I would NOT use this company. We thought they were an honest company that would stand behind their work, but this was not the case. They came for an estimate for 2 new doors and openers (which by the way is to quote you the price based on their measurements and your specific situation.) They ended up increasing the price because THEY failed to correctly measure, and in the process of installation, they damaged part of the new installation. The workers were nice and knew they needed to fix it, but upper management (Marvalynn) told us essentially they would not stand behind their work and fix their damage. So we are stuck. Its not worth your time or money. Go with someone else. (By the way, they do have a strong BBB rating, but a good number of claims against them...get ready for one more Welborn!) more
