This shop has messed up every single thing I've tried to do through them. My invitations were printed wrong, they nearly ordered the wrong color for my bridesmaids, they forgot to order my maid of honor's dress, and the seamstress they use is the worst. She told me my dress would be done by jan. 31 and I didn't get it back until the end of march! She was also extremely rude when I called to ask her about it, telling me IN THE END OF FEBRUARY that she was out of town and that she had proms to do before she could START mine, and when I finally got it back the bustle wouldn't work! Now my MOH's dress is supposed to be here sometime the week of my wedding. I WOULD NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN! more

If you want neon sherbet colors, and meringue and marshmallow- fluff styles for prom, then this is the place for you! Want a sequined camo tutu dress? Then look no further! \r Very, very poor selection of prom dresses in smaller sizes (0-4). By no means would you go here if you are looking for the styles you admire on the red carpets in Hollywood. more

Susan, at Weddings, pageants and Proms, is a wonderful person to work with! During my daughters recent wedding on Dec 11, my first mob dress was a "no go" at the last minute. Upon hearing this, I asked Susan if she could get me a dress in mind you this is 12 days till the wedding... she called the company, had dresses overnighted to her shop. called me the next morning and offered her seamstress !!! I went to Weddings Pageants & Proms last February on a hunt for prom. I'm a verteran shopper, and knew what to look for when it came to store help. The staff at this store was amazing! They didn't push me to buy the day of, they didn't even beg me to try on a billion dresses. I was interested in ordering from a specific company, and they called, right on the dot and took care of everything! The whole process was very simple and smooth, and though I didn't have my alterations done there, I feel as though if I had, I would've had nothing to worry about. I highly reccomend this store to anyone looking for a friendly staff to help you on the hunt for prom shopping. And to the lady a few comments below me. You must be a hard to please person, you forget that prom is as important to a highschooler as a wedding is to a bride. Everyone deserves their turn, and if you went during prom season of all times, you have to wait in line with the rest of us...not just as this store, but every where els more

That ignorant comment below disgusts me!!!! You sound like someone who is a VERY miserable,and pathetic person. I sorry for you! I bought my dress at WPP this Summer, and found the owner, and staff very friendly, and helpful. When you purchase a dress from this business they explain to you that they do NOT do refunds, however they will gladly give you store credit if something major happens that is their fault UNLESS you have had any alterations done to your dress. I hope potential customers read this, and don't pay attention to that idiot womans comment below me! more

BRIDES BEWARE! Just to let girls know before you go to this business to buy your dream dress for the most important day in your life....dresses for school functions get priority over WEDDING DRESSES! We were told in Oct. 2009 that the dress my daughter picked out could be made to fit with no problem..the seams were plenty big enough. Well, the seamstress for this company measured her again 6 wks. before the big day and again told her no problem. four wks later (2 wks. before the wedding) the dress still wasnt ready because she said she had been working on prom dresses. Two days later she called to say , you guessed it, she cannot make the dress fit unless she remakes the back and makes this dress a lace up and the dress would be ready on Wed. (this is on Mon.) Wed. comes and she still hasn't started the alterations. We have 10 days till the wedding. The owner refused to give a refund when it was her stores fault , not my daughters. This business has a great selection and everything is well organized. Staff is friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend to anyone needing prom dresses or tuxedos or wedding attire. Great place to shop. more
