Wedding Group One

We also got married in 2007 - and have no album or video. I do have CD's with my pictures on them. I have no idea if they are High-Res or not. But it makes me sick every time I think that I am without my album and video knowing we paid $6000. They had started my album in June of 2009 and I had asked for them to edit it and make changes to the layout and never received them and then they disappeared. Is it even possible that SOMA has WGO old files stored? At this point I just want the files and I'll find someone qualified to put an album and video together myself. Please update on here.... more

Turns out, we all lost $$$. I got married in 2007 and we've been asking for my photos and video for years. I called Soma and the person I spoke to said Wedding Group One and his Group parted ways years ago. He slipped and said they moved out of the country. I do want my photos and video but after all these years- I'm not quite sure how to start since they no longer exist. more

We got married in 2008 and just like everyone else, we haven't gotten our album, enlargements, or final video. Is anyone or has anyone pursued legal action against Wedding Group One? I've been meaning to contact a lawyer about this but never got around to it. Has anyone talked to a lawyer? I wonder what constitutes a class action suit...? more

Wedding Group One has moved numerous times over the Years. All the partners have split up and only one operates as Soma Wedding. I cannot attach the website but you can google it. I agree that this company should be sued. I got married in September 2006. I have been trying to get my pictures and video and album for years. I've tried to contact Rosario via phone and email to no avail. I've tried to email several times and no one ever answers me back. The only souvenir I have is that first CD they send you, but it's not the high resolution one so I can't make an album. I have no video. At this point I just want the CD and video and I will try to make an album myself. the whole thing is very disappointing. we signed a contract for nearly $6,000 and have nothing to show for it. If anyone has been able to find a solution or get the high resolution CD and raw footage of their video, let's please communicate off line. Thanks to anyone and everyone who responds! more

I got married in May 2007 and still don't have my albums or my enlargements. Like everyone else on here, I paid a lot of money and have not received any of the products that I paid for. The wedding album layout is terrible and chock full of lame love poems/sayings. At this point, I just want to get my albums and enlargements. But they are no where to be found. The last response I got from Rosario was October 7th. I've called several numbers for them and they are all disconnected. At this point, I would not be surprised if they packed up and ran away with our money. If anyone is able to track them down, please post on here. more

THEY HAVE NO CLUE HOW TO RUN A BUSINESS!!! NO INTEGRITY, NO PRIDE. I'M SO FRUSTRATED AT WGO! I got married in August 2007 and still have no pictures to show for it. I call the office a couple of times a month and email them too but never have I heard a response. Rosario has repeatedly given me empty promises. Last time I spoke with her on the phone was late March 2010. My album was being held up because of some problems in their singapore office. now i'm just thinking that was all a fake story to cover their behinds. I'm in the same boat as katie555, kac283, and grpsandiego... and like grpsandiego, i got married in los angeles when their office was here in ktown. they didn't even bother to tell me their office closed down. so when i submitted my video order, it was delayed because everything was coming out of the ny office. thank god i got some cds (with files to make up to 8x10s) because at this point i feel so bad i haven't been able to give my parents and in-laws anything. i think i'll just go ahead and make a mini book and just hope and pray that i will get back my high-res files and $$ back. i was entertaining the idea to go to ny and file a small claims court case against them but it's impossible to track the right address/phone number for these people! I think I will submit ompaint to the NY State Attorney's office as nmerriweather77 suggest. for the other folks who left comments, can we communicate off-site and help each other try to get in touch with the folks at wgo? more

review boards should seriously consider zero stars, because this company definitely deserves it. the experience that KAC283 had is pretty much identical to mine, but i never heard about the philippines! however, they were just about in the printing and binding process, but i don't think i'll ever see my album. the last time i got any response from rosario was on oct. 13. i called again today (12.8.10) and got a voicemail, but was from 4th of july! whoever wants to try and leave a nasty message, it's 212.274.0803 they have the WORST editors (AND photographers!) at their studio. i had to revise my layout and tell them to edit out obvious things for over a year. i worked tirelessly on my album while at the same time taking care of an infant and toddler; but it also didn't help to have over 1200 photos that were all equally awful, to pick out 80 that were decent enough to put in an album. i only worked to make this album as beautiful as possible since i paid for it! it was very time consuming for work that a professional photography studio should have been doing. definitely pissed, aggravated, and extremely sad not to have my album. my husband and i started a facebook community page. please join!!! search- weddinggrouponefraud PS- we used the Los Angeles based office, which I believe is shut down. we live in CA more

I got married over two years ago - Aug. 31, 2008. We finally got our albums last month. We still have a $500 credit and it looks like we'll just be losing it. The only reason we even received an album is because after numerous phonecalls to Rosario she asked ANOTHER photographer that she works for to do us a favor and create our album. You never receive anything from them because the outsource to the PHILIPPINES!!! After six months of numerous phonecalls asking for updates on our layout, we finally get it. It was TERRIBLE. I informed Rosario that I COULD HAVE DONE WHAT I RECEIVED MYSELF ON SNAPFISH (and probably better)!!! We did NOT receive anything like we were shown in the Soho office. We called Rosario multiple times and complained. We received a new layout (after another several months). After several back and forths (during which we had to keep googling their latest contact info) we gave them the go ahead to print. After many many phonecalls to Rosario, we were told that there were problems in the studio in the PHILIPPINES where they outsource and that was why there was a delay. She asked some other photographer she works with to make our album as a favor, and luckily he did. They barely answer the phone and respond to email. When they do, they tell you ""one more week."" Clearly a lie, as your album is probably in the Phillipines. They also keep closing down and moving locations. To even get in touch with them the times that were actually succesful in reaching them, we had to google to find new numbers to reach them. Our video is AMATUER GARBAGE. It's shaky. Best part is the when the entire screen goes black because the camera light died. Why not edit that out?! more

Watch out! I paid a lot of money at their Soho location for wedding photography. They showed me all these beautiful and creative photographs but the persons that showed up to my wedding were complete amateurs and the pictures prove it! My guests took better pictures than the stock photos they did. Don't get scammed. Also, I purchased all my pictures but I still haven't received my album yet and it's been almost 2 years now! This place is terrible and would never recommend for such an important event. Cons: Bait & Switch more

It has been two years since my wedding and I am still missing things. No one calls me back! No one answers my emails! They just took all of my money and dissapeared. When I can get through, they just tell me that everything will be there in a week...well I have been hearing this for 9 months now.... I will be taking legal action within a matter of weeks.
