Though not a fancy boarding place (like the one my friend's dog got Kennel Cough from at her "interview") they take excellent care of your dog. My dog is actually a rescue, that was housed there for about 1 1/2 years- since she couldn't be fostered w/ cats. They took great care of her then, and now on the rare occasion we need to travel and board our dog, we wouldn't even think of taking her elsewhere. We have never had a problem- our dog does tend to shed some weight while she is there (which is ok, she could spare a few lbs) but this is typical of her- if we kept her at home or at a friend's she wouldn't eat either if we're not around to "have dinner with her". That said, she has never gotten sick there, always appears well cared for, and actually doesn't hesitate to go w/ the staff when we drop her off. Don't be fooled by the cosmetic aspect- it's the care that matters.
