Someone call the police! We have a highway robbery on Jog Rd. This insanely overpriced, cafeteria-style bagel joint charges the highest prices for bagels- bar none! \r \r The bagels are good but there are many bagel places in Boca and the surrounding area, in fact at the other places one can sit down and get served like a human being. \r \r At Way Beyond, one has to wait in line, like cattle, to pay the highest prices for bagels and salads this side of the Hudson River! Things are so expensive at this joint that they price for a 1/4 lb. Their prices are truly Way Beyond! more

We occasionally go here for lunch on the weekends. The food is excellent. It is a little pricey for what you get, but I havent seen any place equal or better. Try the mango chicken salad...yummmm. Also cant go wrong with any of the deserts. more

Fabulous bagels and an exceptional array of spreads and salads are what you find here. They have a cafeteria-style ordering setup that takes a few seconds to understand. You may wish to look at the selections from the area outside the line to expedite ordering when it's your turn. \r \r Traveling from home in Central West Broward is well worth the drive. more

Good chicken salad. The brownies are amazing, but it depends on who makes it and or the day they were made, sometimes there somewhat dry or on good days there rich, fudgey and moist. more

You want to see rude... just watch the CUSTOMERS that frequent Way Beyond Bagels. I have seen some comical customer requests and felt embarrassed for some of the old crabs that think if they pay a few bucks for a bagel they should be waited on like they are at a five star resort.\r This place has to run fast and smooth because of the amount of people who come for THE FOOD, which is what it is all about.\r I would say it as close to a true foodie bagel place as you will get in the area. The staff is refreshing... young indie crowd who just want to get your your food order, correctly I might add. \r My wife and I try to go at least once a weekend. Have never been disappointed.\r Funny note --- they have a very strict NO REFUND policy. Not because of the food, but because of the customers. All BMWs and even Ferraris in the parking lot, yet I have watched multiple people try to get refunds for ridiculous reasons. You will not need a refund for the food. more

This is by far the best legit bagel I've had since I moved to FL 13 years ago. Great whitefish salad, egg salad, veggie tuna, baked salmon salad, and chopped herring. If your a bagel boss fan in NY, you'll love it here. Baked goods are great too. Hidden gem- try the banana bread pudding for a treat! more

Many days I have gone to Way Beyond to have a quick and easy lunch. I have often over looked many questionable actions by the staff. But recently, I had ordered a veggie burger with sprouts and cheese. I observed the food handlers rubbing their uncovered hair and handling food. But not, my food. I paid for my lunch and sat down to enjoy it. I took my first bite. I was astounded to discover that along with my sprouts I had a clump of hair. It was too much unwanted protein. I calmly and with poise walked over to the cashier and asked for my money back. I was told, "NO". I asked for the manager and she went to get him. He never came out. At which point, the cashier took money out of the communal tip jar and I left. \r Health violations observed: no hair covering, lack of handwashing after touching non food items, no gloved hands. \r Customer service issues: the line workers are unfriendly, the management is unwilling to speak with their customers. \r Unfortunately, there are few options for this type of food on Jog Rd south of Linton, but there are options on Linton and Military and Linton and Dixie. In the future, the extra two miles may be worth the travel. It is because there are no options in the immediate area that Way Beyond Bagels is able to be incredibly arrogant and rude to their customers. \r In a final comment: their food is no better and often times worse than other local choices. more

I've had bagels all over the country, and whenever I'm in Delray/Boca I stop here every morning for the lox bagel. It's served uniquely in that they prepare it like a sandwich, and it is to-die-for! Out of this world. Strongly recommended. more

A few weeks ago I had the displeasure of eating at the rudest restaurant I have ever encountered.\r \r I inquired if a free refill of coffee was available. The cashier treated me as if the question came from an imbecile, who should know better. I then ordered a coffee at full- price and proceded to pay, whereupon\r the cashier, an overweight, underbrained, spike haired female accused me of " throwing money" at her. When I complained to the manager, another low-life cretin, she sided with the gal. When I expressed a desire to contact the owner, they refused to give me his name or where I might contact him or her.\r \r By this time, a counter person, who looked like a felon on parole, put his 2 cents into it and became threatening and hostile.\r \r Incidentally, the food is tasteless and typically Boca overpriced. more

Good selection of chilled salads and sandwiches. Healthy sized portions of nova and cream cheese on bagels. While Nestor's is more authentic, this is a great place to sit outside and meet up with friends before walking around Morikami. more
