Wax By Piper

I just moved to Nashville and had to find someone I could be comfortable with for bikini waxing and Wax By Piper was a great experience. Personal, Private, not to mention Piper has a great way with people. My comfort level was as it was in my old city. I think I like going to Wax By Piper more than my old wax place. If you want to get a Brazilian, you can't go wrong whether it's your first or just need somewhere to keep it up. Highly recommend this salon. Thumbs up for Piper! more

I had a lady wax my eyebrows in Boston regularly and was afraid I would have trouble finding someone in Nashville, but luckily for me I came across her services and she is great. This place is incredible! It is very cozy and personal. You are greeted by name- Piper is so welcoming! The waxing room is spacious, but private. She is a PERFECTIONIST and makes sure everything is in tip-top shape before you leave. You can tell she really cares about you and how you feel when you leave. Ok-so I can not say enough FABULOUS things about Piper!!! I met Piper at her previous place of employment and was soooo nervous since I was getting a serious Brazilian wax done for the first time. She made it soo relaxing and I wasn't nervous or embarrassed at all!! So now she has her own place (as well she should!) and I am so excited to be able to still see her!!! 12/11/10UPDATE: Had my brows and Brazilian touched up today. Wish I could give ten stars! Piper's the absolute best ever. I've had my brows waxed many times, but had stopped due to getting my eyelid burned by wax that was too hot. But since I hate plucking and I stink at it, I decided to to try it again with someone new. I also decided I wanted a full brazilian too. I did a Google search for wax salons in Nashville. I read several of their sites. Of course I read the reviews on CitySearch. I decided to schedule with Piper. Her reviews are great. Her website is professional, but maintains an open and friendly tone. I scheduled my appointment for 10 am. I found her salon easily with the directions provided on her site. She put me at ease immediately. Once in the private room where she does the waxing, she confirmed with me the services I wanted. She told me the order she would do things. Her salon is decorated in a very soothing and subtle way. She had relaxing music playing. Once she got to the brazilian wax, she confirmed again how much I wanted waxed. She told me exactly what to expect. She put me completely at ease. It was like I was chatting with a long time friend during the wax. She gave me very detailed aftercare instructions. I was nervous about the brazilian since this was my first one, but it was a fabulous experience. Her technique and the wax she uses made the experience essentially pain free! I've already scheduled my touch up appointment. I will be a long time customer. If you are even thinking about a wax, call Piper! If you've ever had a bad wax experience, call Piper. She so exceeded my expectations and I'm happier with the results than I ever would have thought. more
