12/11/10UPDATE: Had my brows and Brazilian touched up today. Wish I could give ten stars! Piper's the absolute best ever.
I've had my brows waxed many times, but had stopped due to getting my eyelid burned by wax that was too hot. But since I hate plucking and I stink at it, I decided to to try it again with someone new. I also decided I wanted a full brazilian too. I did a Google search for wax salons in Nashville. I read several of their sites. Of course I read the reviews on CitySearch. I decided to schedule with Piper. Her reviews are great. Her website is professional, but maintains an open and friendly tone.
I scheduled my appointment for 10 am. I found her salon easily with the directions provided on her site. She put me at ease immediately. Once in the private room where she does the waxing, she confirmed with me the services I wanted. She told me the order she would do things. Her salon is decorated in a very soothing and subtle way. She had relaxing music playing. Once she got to the brazilian wax, she confirmed again how much I wanted waxed. She told me exactly what to expect. She put me completely at ease. It was like I was chatting with a long time friend during the wax. She gave me very detailed aftercare instructions. I was nervous about the brazilian since this was my first one, but it was a fabulous experience. Her technique and the wax she uses made the experience essentially pain free!
I've already scheduled my touch up appointment. I will be a long time customer. If you are even thinking about a wax, call Piper! If you've ever had a bad wax experience, call Piper. She so exceeded my expectations and I'm happier with the results than I ever would have thought.
