Wawa

Wawa is kind of like a 7-11 store, that's what I tell people who don't live in South Jersey and never heard of a Wawa. You can walk in Wawa and buy a sandwich or pick up a gallon of milk. They sale just about everything. They are huge on selling coffee as well. You are in and out of the store rather quickly. You can be sure there are lots of people there. There is even an ATM machine so you can pick up a little extra cash. It's a great place if you are just running in for something quick. more

People who aren't from South Jersey never seem to believe me that Wawa is the greatest convenience store on Earth. They harbor the notion that all convenience stores are created equal. This is simply not true. Unlike other stores Wawa does not close, and you can get excellent coffee (or cappuccino or iced coffee or tons of other things) without paying an arm and a leg. Wawa also has a 24 hour deli so you can get great subs any time of the night. I'll admit they're not the best I've ever had, but they will put Subway in its place any day of the week. And the best part about Wawa: I can get cheap gas at any time of night! (So far as gas is cheap anywhere these days) Bottom line, I love this place, and have absolutely no complaints. more
