Watt Avenue Medical Clinic

This clinic is a joke, i had to change insurance after i turned 18 and they sent me a place where people don't give a damn about you. I called to make an appt to get a referral for the military(due to my past surgery i just needed a doctors note to say im ok) they send the next available appt wasn't for 2 weeks. i was in disbelief, what if i was sick? what if etc? i would've had to wait 2 weeks just for an appt? Anyways that wasn't the worst part. When i came in(10 mins early) i had to wait an additional 25min til i got seated and got my blood pressure and etc taken. I WAITED 1 HOUR IN THE ROOM NEXT DOOR LISTENING TO THE ONLY DOCTOR THAT WAS IN THERE( the clinic) TALK TO THESE GIRLS ABOUT PERSONAL BUSINESS. "" Are you a good girl? do you have a boyfriend? is your foster mother taking care of you? how are you doing in school? "" i was furious he could've been done with them 55 minutes before. So it's my time to go in, he has a bunch of files, his computer and coffee on the bed. He says nothing to me and i sit down and ask him how he's doing. He looks at the computer for 10 minutes finishing up the previous work then asks me what brings you here today. I told him my problem how i can't join the military if i don't get a referral from my doctor saying im good to go and physical therapy made me all better. he stares at his computer some more and says "" we can't do that here, you have to see a specialist "" ( i already knew i couldn't get a physical at a clinic for my situtation ) So i ask him "" well when will i be notified to be seen "" he says "" we'll call you "" i ask him "" by when? "" ( i wanted a specific time ) he says "" in 2 weeks and if we don't call, call us "" i went in sept 4th, it is now sept 30th and i just got off the phone with them saying we don't have a referral in progress... ........... ........ Funny, they just called me back saying they DID send the referral and it wasn't the doct fault. Sounds like bs to me. This makes me sick, being low income is bad enough but being treated like that in a place where they're supposed to take care of you. If you're wondering which doctor? Dr. Danialypou, i read reviews today, I'm not the only one.. more

He takes advantage of low-income people who are ill. What kind of man is this let alone Dr. Miss Roberta is the nicest, kindest person there. She really cares about her patience and should not be there. She belongs in a better place.. He almost killed my son. Sent him home with a minor throat problem (He said) and my son stopped breathing and was rushed by ambulance to the hospital where they had to perform a treach on him!!! Scared the hell out of my son and me and the rest of the family. He does not deserve to be practicing. But Miss Roberta and the other Asian lady should not be held responsible for this doctors actions. They need a job and have to work where they can. They would not allow anyone to walk out of there knowingly in harms way. They are not Dr.'s. Thank you more

I have been there 2x. First time visit costs $65. Existing patients are then charged $45 per visit. On my first visit, I was a walk-in and had to wait 3.25 hours to see the doc. I made an appointment for my 2nd visit but was told when I got there that they had no record of it. I was also told by the doc that the 2nd visit was considered a follow-up visit and that there would be no charge. Yet the front desk still asked me for payment. So the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. I saw Dr. Danialypour on both visits. He seems to ignore everything you tell him, and has his mind made up as soon as he walks in the door. I have been sick for 3 months as of this post. And instead of trying to get to the bottom of the issue, (i.e., Labs, Referral to a Specialist) he seems to think it is perfectly OK for me to continue to suffer. One lady in the waiting room made the comment that Danialypour had been her doctor since childhood. She has a job with the State, so I know she has good insurance. And yet she CHOOSES to continue using this guy and this clinic. I cannot understand why anyone with good insurance or any insurance at all would go this place. I will not be going back. Pros: $45 for an office visit. Cons: Everything else about this dump. P.S. I gave it one star only because I cannot give it a ZERO. more

This is the sorriest bunch of people I've ever met I dont get how most of them got theyre damn medical license. Let me start by saying the peditrician Dr.Greenwood Is a Damn QUACK when I went in for a physical back in march he neglected to take my urine which in turn put me in the hospital last week on an IV and I found out I was sick with a severe kidney infection but when I tried to make an appointment they scheduled it out for 2 weeks later. When I went to the doctors on wednesday the other doctor is trying to say I'm having back spasms when that is not the case because I know I'm not so he prescribes me some naproxens and thats not what I need theyre all quacks over there and don't know what the hell theyre talking about just like they neglected to warn me the medicine he prescribed which was the same as the hospital causes yeast infections and than I call them back and they cant prescribe me nothing and tell me to go to urgent care Wow I cant wait to switch because they are a joke over there like for realz. Cons: Theyre all Quacks over there more

I agree with the above reviewer. Most of the times patients are treated like that. They can and they should imrove their service quality. I had in issue with my heart and my heart care specialist needed a referral for a stress test, but the doctor we were seeing( physician's assistant) told us to make another appointment to see the main doctor to get a referral? and their waiting time is atleat one hour or more most of the times I took my fatehr there even with an appointment. I don't know If they treat just Medi-cal or Medicare people like that or all the patients are treated like that? more

Im writing this review because of the treatment by the Medical Clinic of my son who is a quad. Starting with the doctor there who asked him to please get up out of his wheel chair. This clinic is the most nasty, uncaring group of people i have ever encountered in the medical field. They dont care that you are having a bad time without your meds. They dont care if you cant walk, and have no way to get to the clinic. They dont care,,,,,period. They will not work with your pharmacist at all. If you are a Medical, or Medicare patient, that is a license to really treat you like dirt. I sincerely hope i get an answer back from this group. I would also like to know who they answer to. more
