Waters Property Management took over our lease when the owner decided she no longer wished to manage the property she was renting to us. Our first contact was a poorly Xeroxed letter just telling us to ""send our check"" to them. There was no phone call, no signature, no explanation, and they were EXTREMELY slow in sending documents verifying the contract, etc.
After a few months, the owner got a bill from the City for fees SHE OWED prior to our renting the property. We received a threatening letter from WPM telling us that the owner was going to ""shut our utilities off if we didn't pay the bill."" They never tried to contact us to clarify the problem (which was a misunderstanding ON THE OWNER'S PART).
They don't seem to have a grasp of how to legally manage rental properties or how to treat tenants with common courtesy.
