Great spot for drinks. Cheap happy hour. $2 food menu at happy hour which was just what we were looking for. The sliders are excellent. Karaoke starts around 10 which is entertaining. We were drawn in and couldn't stop singing!!! We had so much fun. more

Pleasant staff, and a decent tap selection (oddly Brooklyn Pilsner-- but no Lager), Smithwicks, etc. The bartender remembers your name and the waitress is always Johnny... er... Janey on the spot. Your empty glass won't stay that way for long. more

yup know exactly who you mean but time passes by and lets face it he wasn't going to be there forever totally agreed, amazing bartender! and yes the best in that place! but service there is secondary and lets face it people go there for the singing the cheap menu and cheap kicks! (ha ha) everyone liked him but maybe he had enough!,How he survived Art was beyond me? but then again what dosen't you know makes you stronger. use to have a lot of fun here came in last Thursday and was informed Joe does not work there anymore, well let me just say he was the best part of the place, always the charmer. The new bartenders lack charm and no one there can really get a crowd going the way this guy could. He would even walk you to a cab at three in the morning a true gent, yes there are some left ladies. Anyway I speak for myself and the entire area we might come in once in a while to laugh at the idiots singing but a regular spot never! we miss you Joe wish I would have gotten your number always thought about opening my own spot you would have been perfect! A group of my coworkers and I went out on a Friday evening. Someone suggested TracyJ's. We get there around 10 and the place was super busy. We heard someone singing Every Step You Take which was awesome...we grabbed some drinks but there was nowhere to sit...not at the bar...not in the back. We kinda had to end up spreading out everywhere....which sorta sucked. Then later we all squeeze in at the bar and this wench on a waitress/bartender...some thing...kept shoving passed us. Eventually she told us that ""if we didn't move away from the back end of the bar, she'd have us removed"". We were all a little buzzed...so we just left. I mean, there's a nice way to ASK...and then there is the way this snob TOLD us. Pros: Karaoke Cons: Rude service employees. more

My girlfriend and I went here with a group of her friends for a kind of end of the night for a birthday outing. It was preplanned as this place was supposed to be excellent (when it was called Tracy J's). But, we quickly found out differently! My girlfriend grabbed us each a drink. As we stood and watched some of the Karaoke (which was actually kind of fun) a seat at the bar became available. We asked the guy next to us if he knew anyone sitting here, he said no. My girlfriend sat down. However, there was a jacket on the chair. A tall skinny lady came back maybe ten minutes later and told my girlfriend to get up (she didn't ask at all). My girlfriend kind of smiled as told her that we didn't know anyone was sitting there. The woman then promptly followed with a comment that she will have my girlfriend kicked out. I told my girlfriend to get up and as she did...the woman waved over the bouncer. This all happened within a matter of a minute or two. The lady must have had some connection or something...because we were asked to leave. When I asked why...no one could give me any answers...no talking to managers....no information at all. Not to mention the bouncer was treating each of us as if we caused a real problem. So overall we were kicked out of not just the seat but the entire bar, and quite rudely. Be careful at ""The WateringHole"" ; you have to walk on broken glass, practically. Pros: The karaoke was actually pretty cool, and fun. The drinks were good too. Cons: Drinks are small for the price, and the employees treat patrons like dirt without reason. more

Tracy J's is a great after work spot if you work in the area\r the happy hour specials are great and the owner, Art loves to give out free tee-shirts and food to his patrons. \r the only downside to this bar is the attitude of the female bartenders who seem to hate everyone for no apparent reason. \r more

When we went up to get what we assumed would be our second drink at no charge, the bartender charged us $5 a piece. ""So 24 bucks plus tip for four light beers?"" we asked. She said, ""I charged you $14 up front because that's the minimum, you had to have ordered two beers each up front. Now we have to charge you again."" When we protested, she proceeded to rudely talk down to us and act like a know-it-all. Needless to say, we left. Don't bother with this place -- you can get the same dive-bar ambience without the bad service, tricky ""beer specials"" and oodles of 30-year-old ex-frat boys elsewhere. more
