Editorial review from Citysearch 12/26/2012

DO NOT MOVE HERE. Again some idiot plowed the snow up behind the cars. My daughter and I both cannot get to work today because we cant get our cars out. They take pride here in messing up peoples jobs, by holding them prisoners until the snow melts on its own. Why bother plowing the parking lot. It doesnt help anyone. They are obvious to lazy to do the right thing... more

BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE 4/26/2010

Do not move here if your life is not totally in order. The management is nice to you only when you do everything that they expect. Washers/dryers always broken. Cheaper to do laundry at the nearby Quick Check. Very noisy if you are facing the garage area, noise if magnified by the layout. UTILITIES ARE PRICED OUT OF THIS WORLD. EVERYTHING IN THE APARTMENT IS ELECTRIC. Which means waterfall village covers only hot water. Electric bills were over $420.00 per month for a two bedroom. DO NOT BELIEVE THE $60 per month figure that they tell you when you go. This will sum it up..... I fell down the steps of the laundry room because of ice... like a nice guy, I call the super... I even put up a chair by the stair so that nobody else would fall... I got hurt, no hospital or doctors... but it hurt. After living there for 3 years and paying $1,550 per month (was never even late with payment), I lost my job four months before my lease was up and had to move to my parents basement with my family.... WHAT DID WATERFALL VILLAGE DO??.. They charged me rent until they filled the apartment with another tenant (two months)...not only that... they kept my full deposit of over $2,000 and said it went towards cleaning the apartment and doing all these other ridiculous things... which they hire a bunch of mexicans from Butler to do for like $2 per hour. I even ended up owing them $237.00 because the $2,000 did not cover all the work. BELIEVE ME THE APARTMENT WAS IN PERFECT SHAPE... I KNOW BECASE I HAD TO DO ALL THE MAINTENANCE... WATERFALL NEVER DID ANY OF THE WORK... WHEN THEY DID, IT WAS AFTER MONTHS OF COMPLAINING. They threatened to take me to collections on the $237.00, I had no money to feed my family and they wanted $237.00.. BASTARDS! I SHOULD HAVE SUED WHEN I FELL DOWN THE STEPS!!! STAY AWAY FROM HERE.. THE OLD COUPLE THAT YOU WILL MEET WILL SEEM NICE, BUT THEY ARE NOT CALLING THE SHOTS... YOU ARE DEALING WITH A PERSON THAT YOU WILL NEVER SEE... AND THEY ARE RUTHLESS AND DONT CARE ABOUT YOU... NEITHER DOES THE OLD COUPLE... DONT FALL FOR IT... BELIEVE ME.. STAY AWAY. (This review was written a full two years after I moved out... it still stings....) Cons: Terms, flexibility, landlords are ruthless! $$$$$, parking more

Not a great place to rent 12/30/2009

I lived in Waterfall Village for 5 years and watched the place deteriorate right before my eyes. When I moved in, the yard and common areas were well kept but 2 years later, the yard maintenance and upkeep stopped. The laundry area always had broken washers and dryers and then they raised them both so high that I had to do my laundry at the Quik Chek up the road. Also all the bedrooms face the garages and the noise that comes from there is loud and unbearable, and that is during the winter months when the windows are closed. Don't plan on sleeping in if you move there. Also it is very pricey (between $1250 to $1300 a month) for what you get which is really just a small kitchenette, small living room, an small eating area, and a mediocre sized bedroom. I used them as a reference for the new complex that I was moving to, considering that I was there for 5 years and never missed a rent payment or was late on any, and the other complex was told that they could not give any info on my time there. The rep from the other complex relayed to me that they were nasty about it too. I moved out in mid-November and according to the lease agreement, they have 30 days to return my security deposit. It is now Dec. 30th and I still haven't recieved it and they will not return my phone calls. PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS PLACE AND CONSIDER MOVING SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! Pros: Nothing Cons: Noisy and expensive more

HORRIBLE APARTMENT COMPLEX 5/31/2009

If I could give this place 0 stars I could. Way too expensive for what you get. Failure to fix leaks in our apartment after telling the management NUMEROUS of times caused our electric bills to be in excess of $350 dollars a month. Do not believe them when they tell you that you will only pay 60 dollars a month! Also, their leasing terms are horrible. Think you'll only have to give 30 days to give your notice to leave? TRY 60!! In order to go to a month to month lease they'll raise you rent $100+ dollars. BEWARE BEFORE RENTING FROM THIS COMPANY. In addition to all of this, they charge you 200+ dollars for cleaning fees that are mandatory when you move out. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE. HORRIBLE COMMUNITY. Pros: NOTHING Cons: Horrible management, no repairs, bad move out conditions more
