Washington Electric

I recently (SEPT 2011) had Eric at Washington Electric install a 70A subpanel in my basement as a part of a remodel. I had two other companies come and do estimates before I decided to go with Washington Electric for my installation. Eric not only gave the best price, but also came on time and was very enthusiastic when explaining my options. The work he did was professional. In fact, I was so pleased with his work that I had him come and do some additional work after the subpanel installation was done. I would not hesitate to call Washington Electric again for my electrical work. more

He is friendly, knowledgeable, reasonable, and professional. He is upfront about what needed to be done, and was accurate in the time needed and gave a firm estimate. I had so many other estimates that we ""if this happens, then it costs this, or if that happens, it will cost this"". Eric knows what he is doing and will be my electrician from now on. No more zapping myself. more

Here are the things that I appreciated the most: (in no particular order). - Out of the box thinking and go getter attitude: Where other contractors needed to be accompanied by a crew to patch up the dry wall, Eric accomplished without tearing the wall at all (in any visible area)! That's real savings right there. Plus, lack of proximity to a switch was not a dead end to him, and he managed to find clever ways around it. - Competitive rates: Let's face it, cost is one of the most important consideration for most of us, and we got good competitive rates. Otherwise we wouldn't have undertaken the project at all. - Professional work: The estimated duration was pretty accurate, Eric brought along all his fancy tools and gadgets and cleaned up after completing the job. Very satisfied with the overall quality and professionalism. - Availability and Flexibility: Setting up time for a quote and the job itself was a breeze, in spite of our working hours. Based on my experience, I'd highly recommend Washington Electric without any reservations. more
