I've been taking my precious little Chloe (Yorkie) to this hospital for a year and a half for regular check-ups, vaccines and anytime she has felt under the weather. The entire staff has been extremely helpful, thorough, and kind to my feisty little girl. I continue to use their services because I feel that the vets really try to connect with Chloe and make her feel comfortable. They are also great at encouraging Chloe and I to overcome our trepidation :) more

I have three pits, two cats and a lazy rabbit and whenever there's a problem, they come to Washington. I've never been/felt deceived at all. The peeps are nice, they really do care about your pets. I love the staff here. more

I have an 18 year old Feline named Annie. She was an orphan and bottle fed as a kitten. Resulting in a very, very shy cat that really only likes me and tolerates my brother who lives with me. Needless to say leaving the house with her, car rides and Vet visits have always been rough. When I got there for my appointment it had it's own convenient parking lot behind the facility(which is great for downtown). The waiting room was clean and empty. The women behind the counter was pleasant and very helpful. The two resident cats that wonder the facility are happy and seem well loved by the staff. Dr. Barron was the Vet that I met with and she was very nice and knowledgeable. I had done some research on line and thought Annie might have Hyper-thyroidism. After the consultation the pricing for all tests and procedures were clearly shown to me with no confusion. They even offered to clip Annie's unruly nails for free! Annie was the least nervous I have ever seen her at any Vet, and I have been to three in her lifetime more

I have been using this vet for my two sphynx cats since they were kittens. When Seymour was in to be neutered the staff paid extra attention to him and bonded with him. The vets are knowledgeable and extremely loving with the animals as well as the rest of the staff. I have sinced moved from downtown to West Hollywood and do not intend on changing to a vet closer to me. I am very happy with my experience at this hospital. I trust them and their prices are reasonable. more

Dr. Wong and Dr. Barron are the BEST. They were caring and went beyond the call of duty. They gave me all the attention I needed. They explained Lucky's problems and the bill was as quoted. They also gave me a tour of the newly remodeled surgery and treatment areas which look just like a human hospital. They have an ultrasound machine which allowed them to diagnose Lucky's stones. Thanks to the all the staff we will be back.(hopefully not too soon) more

Dr. Wong and the staff at Washington Dog & Cat hospital helped me when I found a dog wandering around the streets. He was emaciated, and had puncture bite wounds all over his body. Because of his dire circumstances, they did everything they could to help me and also reduced the medical bills as much as possible to make it easier on me financially. They were extremely caring, and took wonderful care of him for five days. I was able to speak to Dr. Wong whenever I wanted, and she always took a lot of time to talk to me about any concerns I had. The hospital was also very accommodating and nice to me every time I came to visit him. I am extremely grateful to them for their quick efficient care and the kindness they showed us will not be forgotten. Because of their efforts, my dog is back to 100% health and having the time of his life in his new home! more

I have a 9 year old Bichon Frise who was operated on by Dr. Marks last year. My dog was having difficulty urinating my dog was diagnosed with urethral cancer. My dog has had a history of having frequent UTI'S, bloody urine, and having difficulty urinating which was always treated as a UTI by other Vets with the same antibiotic every time and they were not interested in looking any further regarding her problem. When I first took my dog to WD & C several years ago Dr. Marks took the time to examine my dog and even did a free ultrasound to check out her bladder to see if she had some sort of stone or mass blocking her ureter. I was amazed that he went out of his way to do it. This time her visit was much more disturbing because she couldn't urinate at all unless she had the catheter in, and Dr. Marks still couldn't see anything via x-ray. He called and stated that she would need exploratory surgery because there was definitely something there deep in her pelvic cavity, and naturally there was. He called me every step of the way to keep me informed of what was going on with my dog's surgery. I am saying all this to say that Dr. Marks and Dr. Wong went far beyond the call of duty to save my Bichon's life while they had her on the table. more

This is the ONLY vet worth seeing in all of LA. Warm, caring, the follow thru is astounding. These are truly pet people. more

We ordered very different dinners that both turned out beautifully. The chef/owner Jack came out and introduced himself to us and personally asked how our food/exerpience was. We were both quick to respond with, we'll be back next week. more
