Oishii! So glad to found a quality sushi spot so close to my house.. and it's Flatland all the way, so I don't have to trek over Seattle , which I've found has a fish-to-rice ratio problem, anyway. So, to business: Get the nigiri! Great value, super-fresh, just the right amount of rice for the delicious enormous slabs of fish they serve up. Uni (sea urchin) was available when I went and it was fabulous - tasting just like the sea smells . The rest of the menu can seem overwhelming, especially all the unconventional rolls, but order a couple of those too, because they're mostly really yummy -but don't order too much, because they're also huge! 8 or 9 pieces in each. We got the Palmspring , which is a Tempura WhiteFish with Spicy avocado Tuna (props to that) with lots of spice. Yay for flavor! Top it off with a bottle of Nigori sake and you'll be feeling *great* when you walk out the door. Plus, the staff is super-nice. Pricey, yes, but totally worth it for what you're getting. more

love this place. honestly, it's one of my favorite local spots. now first off, i'm not a big sushi lady, but every single one of my friends that i've brought here thought the sushi was amazing. i know the portions are very generous. they have a fantastic teryaki chicken dinner for those of you non-sushi enthusiasts like me. it's a asian,japanese fusion spot for you hardcores. they have a great selection of sake. and i simply love the atmosphere here. great date spot. it's much better now. They have the big screen tv (which of course was great during big games sports, NEway it's much nicer now). love the simple wall palce and candle light...just like down town club etc. just a fun place with great food! Good place for hang out ! 3/28/2010

When you see if from the outside you might think, ""How good could this place really be??"" But after you walk in, you feel like you are suddenly in belltown or somewhere like that! The decor is amazing and the bar is something straight out of an upscale club! We ordered a few drinks with our meal and they were delicious yet pricey, but that is what we were expecting after seeing the place. We ordered a few sushi rolls and also the chicken teryaki. We ordered the spicy tuna roll and a California roll...and to my surprise since this was my first GOOD sushi experience...I LOVED the spicy tuna!! The next time we go we will definitely skip the chicken and just sushi it up!! It was amazingly fresh and had such great flavor!! We also ordered these unique little dessert balls...they were flavored ice cream (coffee and vanilla) covered in a bean paste type thing that tasted kind of like a marshmallow and then was drizzled with chocolate sauce...awesome...you will have to try those when you try this place!! A must try for sure Pros: everett Cons: Real food Reasonable price more

great sushi, and creative menu, pricing reasonable. well worth the quality. A little crowded but after eating there I understand why. Also opened a new location in Everett MAllway, a little more trendy decore, but same fabulous menu and quality . a must if you like sushi and don't want to make the drive to Seattle or Bellevue. more

Wasabi Factory Everett Mall Way, Everett WA 3/25/2010

I was looking foward to trying the Wasabi Factory for the first time. It had a nice trendy look and interesting atmosphere. The waitress took our order while rubbing her hand all over her face then getting spoons for the miso soup and setting the spoons on the table. The food was awful, awful. Awful. Everything in our Bento Box was not even lukewarm while the salmon was hot. The tempura broccoli tasted like it had sat in the deepfryer then had been fried again. The tempura potato was crispy-raw. And the shrimp in the tempura shrimp had already been precooked, then battered. Tasted awful while the batter was still mushy and raw. The deep fried tofu was terrible as it had also been undercooked and tasted like a fresh block of tofu. Miso soup was way too salty. We tried to tell the waitress why we weren't enjoying our meal, but she didn't let us finish our conversation and instead brought the cook to our table so we could tell him. He listened to part of our concern before interrupting us because he didn't want to hear the rest. We love teriyaki and sushi and thought this place would be great. Instead we won't be going back. Ugh. Overpriced for bad food for small portions and ill trained staff. Pros: Nice atmosphere Cons: AWFUL FOOD more
