Tried the Lobster House for the first time tonight. I would expect that a place so close to fresh seafood would serve fresh seafood. I started off with the fried calamari. That was pretty decent. Their salad bar was well-stocked, but not everything there was as fresh as it could have been. My main course was steamed mussels in a white wine butter sauce with garlic. The steam coming off the mussels smelled like they had been cooked in sewer water. I had them sent back and replaced them with crab cakes which were too salty. I noticed that I was not the only one to send back the mussels. My date had the Queen Anne Haddock. This was very fishy tasting. We both felt that the menu didn't describe the food adequately. The food was not a good value for the money and I will not eat there again.
Pros: Nice Ambience, Good View, Good Salad Bar
Cons: Pricey, Food Not Fresh
