Best

I've been going to Wang's since I was a kid and it's still great. The butterfly shrimp is wonderful.

Worst

NO WANGS! 11/16/2009

Wangs used to be pretty popular when it was on Myrtle Ave. After moving to Lemon Ave and after a very nice remodel, the menu has been revamped. Prices are approx 25% higher and the food has definately changed too. Our Three Flavor Chicken was dry with no sauce for $12.95. The rice that came with it was a small 4 oz for an extra $2. Hardly enough for 2 people. The worst was our waiter who was most likely overly bitter at his decline in business in recent times. His former customers probably vacant after the decline in food quality, and price. He treated us with snide remarks when we asked for a booth instead of a table in the near empty restaurant and I'm sure was trying to teach us a lesson by never returning to refill our water or tea. He felt it necessary to charge my little girl a $2.50 service fee just for occupying a chair at our table because she doesn't like to eat chinese food. When speaking to the owner of the restaurant, he simply listened with an 'ah huh' here and there and an 'ok' at the end without any apology from him or his employee at all. Thank you sir for showing us that we should never lose another opportunity to enjoy Panda Inn with their friendly service and constant delicious entrees. Never shall that ever happen again! Pros: pretty decor Cons: taste, attitude, price more

OK Food at Way Too High A Price 5/5/2007

Wang's food is tasty enough, if you're not willing to drive to Arcadia to eat more authentic and delicious Chinese food. The main problem is the price - just absurdly overpriced for what amounts to average-quality, ""Americanized"" Chinese takeout. The interior is hilariously dated, also - maybe if you want a sort of retro-80s chinese food experience, you'll enjoy eating in at Wang's. Pros: They deliver Cons: Very overpriced, mostly bland, Americanized food more

Chicken with Brown Sauce 3/10/2004

The menu is small. Most dishes are just different variations of ""Chicken with Brown Sauce"". Just add cashews and voila! now you have ""Chicken with cashews""...or any other single ingredient for that matter. If you don't mind driving a little, head over to Monterey Park or Alhambra where the best Chinese restaurants are in the San Gabriel valley. For a restaurant outside of those 2 cities, Wang's is probably better than average. Pros: Appearance more

A Delight 6/5/2002

Simply the BEST Chinese food I have ever had. There are nice linen tablecloths and napkins, and a Very Friendly and Helpful staff. Just add to the wonderful time I have every time I go there. The dishes are always delicious, with plenty to eat. I really reccomend the Eggplant in Brown sauce. Pros: Good Food Cons: Pricey more
